he held the bag of unopened chips in his hand , looking from his soon to be late night purchase to the setter beside him . he hadn’t expected to run into Kenma out so late , but he coudln’t say he really minded the quiet company . that was until he had spoken , that was .

he gave a roll of his shoulder , a shrug as an answer before moving up in line . he knew he could ask the same of Kenma , but why did the time matter ? there wasn’t morning practice the next day ( some emergency , they had been told ) so he was granted a later bedtime then he normally would . and that meant he could get chips , so he wasn’t really complaining .
