Never Over You || Kalijah year 2023

Kat secretly enjoyed closing the Cafe she worked at. No one to talk to or to ignore. Her body swayed to the music wafting through the open air as she scrubbed circles into the counter. As she had finished her task, she threw her apron in the back and punched out. Grabbing her purse as she walked out the door, she took a deep breath of the cool night air and decided to walk to her apartment. Though as she turned she recognized a familiar figure leaning against the wall. A face she could never forget.

"...Elijah."

".. Lets have a chat shall we?" The Original offered her a drink. Cold, dead in his eyes. "Please sit."

Katherine took a seat slowly, accepting the glass from him. Though the atmosphere felt far from relaxed, she feigned nonchalance. “What is it?”

"Katerina.."

Eyebrows raised, the female regarded him with a guarded expression. “Elijah—” It was a challenge to keep her tone neutral, to keep the bitterness from her voice. “—To what do I owe this… pleasure?”

He grabbed hold of the lion by the neck, shoving a pen into the side of his neck. “Do not ever come near her. You will have to go through me first.”

The Original shook off the pain inflicted upon him. His eye looked off to the side, bull-rushing the humanoid lion into the wall behind. “You’ve made a mistake by returning my blow to you.. Lion..”

Jacen allowed himself to be brought to the wall, knowing exactly how it was he was going to attack.

"It was your mistake thinking you can come onto my life, and initiate a conflict, and expect me not to defend myself."

He clasped his hands together, raised his arms, and smashed them upon Elijah's back. He raised his hands again and smashed the original on his back again. He then took hold of him, and smashed his knee into his stomach. He did it once again before throwing him to the floor. He then sent a kick to his stomach, sending across the room.

"Leave now and this feud will end before it truly begins. Continue, and I will kill you."

A sound did not leave him as he felt the other man's hand curl around his throat. A strangled roar then left his lips as the pen entered the side of his neck. This man wanted a confrontation? He surely earned himself one. The nails of his right hand quickly grew into claws of the sharpest and he rammed them into his side. He then reeled his head back and jerked forward, slamming his forehead into the Original's face. He then pushed him off of him and pulled the pen from his neck, not even reaching to cover the wound. It immediately began to close and heal.

"It will be my pleasure!"

Although Jacen's duties were for him to represent sympathy and compassion, this man would not receive such. He attacked him for whatever petty reason he had. And that did not sit well with him, especially because he attacked uncivilized in his manner. Another roar left his lips as he began to shift into something he rarely shifted into. He grew another head above the Original, golden fur blanket his flesh, his hands turned into massive paws with even shaper claws than before, his dark hair turned into a dirty blonde, shoulder length mane. His eyes changed from their normal gold to a deep crimson color.

The humanoid lion began to approach the vampire. "You have made a grave mistake. A mistake cannot let you go unpunished for."
