Religion

This can be tricky. We've come to stand publicly behind one faith which is Asatru. Read more here: http://www.asatru.org/ and  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%81satr%C3%BA_in_the_United_States, because it's what the most of us work with, and it's easier than saying, "Well, today I'm Asatru, but tomorrow I might be Christian." that makes us sound flaky and hollow, to a lot of people, and also opens up a can of questions that take way too long to answer. 

For a while we had several atheists and agnostics, one Christian, several pagans including the Asatru, and a Universalist. 

I haven't really done a head-count since the recent shift but it makes for some interesting discussions both inside and out, especially as we were raised Protestant.

"Christmas"

Faith: Well [husband] seemed a bit perturbed when I mentioned the head shiftiness. 

Friend: Why? Isn't it a good thing? 

Faith: Well, it was midnight and neither of us were quite awake I don't think he quite understood what I meant. We were being up way too late and antsy and cleaning that's usually [mania]; but I think there's an internal shift going on, a merge maybe, not sure.

Friend: Well, that's a good thing isn't it? It's like Christmas but you get a person. 

Faith: I hadn't thought of it like that! Hopefully, though some times it means others disappear, but if certain ones disappeared it would strengthen us, like Rat. She's got creepy behaviors. I mean if she starts trying to vivisect people we become a statistic.

Meds are annoying. Jay is back and that's annoying; but that's mostly 'cause he's running his game a lot and I don't get to be out because I do things like eat and it pisses him off. Tell you though it is funny to chug down a queer beer and then let him back out.

J.C.: Alright, let's go on that walk. 

Max: Why? 

J.C.: Because it's good for us. 

Max: I don't wanna. 

J.C.: Then don't pay attention. 

Max: Come on. It's early. Let's sleep some more. 

J.C.: We're going on this walk or I will push you forward next time I have guy's day with [spouse] and we're having rare burgers and beer. 

Max: You're sooooooo meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeean. 

J.C.: Yes, I'm a terrible, terrible person who wants us to be healthy.

Max: Beer is not healthy.

J.C.: Neither is vodka.

Max: :p~~~~ I'm going to sleep.

J.C.: You do that. The rest of us are going on a walk.
