More alien concepts from Null Space.

These are asphactins (a.k.a. asphs), a sapient species with striking sexual dimorphism, a tough body and a hard fate.

Centuries ago, the asphaktins clashed with the old konkrixes, resulting in the destruction of their homeworld. For a long time, the asphs lived in ruined colonies without the possibility of communication with each other. They were found by the developing dezians and returned to the technological society.

But soon the disaster returned - the Kardisan War began, during which the dezians and their allies faced many hostile aliens, including new konkrixes. During the war, the union state collapsed, and the asphaktins remained on their own. Their colonies were overtaken by a great economic crisis, due to which many asph men turned to scavengers and mercenaries.
