★ - sad headcanon: one time, after a particularly bad argument, caddy starts giving ian the cold shoulder. everyone expects ian to just brush it off, since he seems to care little about their “rivalry” in general, but instead he starts panicking. which makes everyone else panic, because they’ve never seen ian get like this before. this goes on for a while until wallid drags caddy over to make him apologize.

How about demisexual Paul? I feel like that explains his route better and his close bond with Josh and Nick.

he’s not sure why nick and josh like her so much. they’ve only known her for a few weeks. but it’s obvious in the way they compliment her, look at her, buy her cake and win her prizes... god, they’re practically climbing over each other to win her affection. they’ve known each other so much longer than they’ve known her. he doesn’t see how it’s at all worth it.

if he’s being honest, it’s hard for him to imagine liking hana that way. it seems he doesn’t like most girls that way. most people, really. he likes nick and josh, but he thinks that’s more because they’re his friends than because they’re boys. maybe one day hana will mean that much to him, too.

so when she asks him to kiss her, it’s scary. because that’s what he had been expected to do, and he didn’t do it. he still doesn’t know if he wants to. he pulls out some excuse about wanting her mojo, but he knows his wording is awful.

she inspires him. he wanted to spend more time together as friends. understand how she could be so great.

he thinks about it a lot for the next week. thinks about how things are different without her around. how she’s become an integral part of the group. how sad nick and josh look in her absence. how he feels the same way.

and maybe he hasn’t known hana as long as he’s known nick or josh, but that doesn’t make her any less important. he still feels closer to her than he feels to most of his friends. and bit by bit, he starts to feel like he could like her too.
