woah. my last intro post was old.

hello, helloooo!!! the name's bee (obviously an online name), but i also go by christine and / or lyra! however, y'all probably know me as divergentdiesel. i adore all things theatre, i also love books, fandom, writing, + jewellery!

The Lustrous Cabaret is Sigil’s newest faction, reformed in the Shattered Ward into a community of artists, actors, musicians, and authors casually known as the Mummers. Belphegor leads this wide-ranging troupe, taking on this role after her previous venture in Hell’s Embassy didn’t pay off like she had hoped.

Now an influential celebrity at the center of the universe, Belphegor encourages the members of the Lustrous Cabaret – “You too can be just like me, if you just climb the ladder and work your magic.” Whether that's true or not has yet to be seen by the aspiring performers and yet to be realized by the voracious talent scouts of the Shattered Ward.

Some, like the lounge singer Roksana, have achieved local fame – breaking the rungs of the ladder as she climbed. Others aren't so lucky, playing Sigil's many taverns and giving street performances in a sea of desperate hopefuls in feverish competition with one another.

Ideal. Influence. Power and agency let us act upon our preferences at any time, reshaping the world around us into whatever we want. The more power, the more influence.

Headquarters. Torus Theatre

Leadership. The leader and host of the Lustrous Cabaret is Belphegor, the archdevil consort of Mephistopheles.

I meant to post these more frequently, so I'm going to post a few in a row to make up for it. Eventually I want to share some maps I've made for the factions as well, and the generic NPC statblocks I've designed for the faction agents - in this case, the aspiring performer, talent scout, and ascendant star.
