Okay so I've just dropped my man off at the train station and the boy off at nursery.
I've not told my other half I'm going to try become vegan yet. I suppose he saw my Vegan Starter Pack from PETA lying about yesterday but I doubt he's thought much about it.
You see he's just started Weight Watchers too. I've been going for a while and I'm at my goal weight but he wants to lose at least a stone before the wedding. I do a lot of cooking and I think he was happy to start Weight Watchers so that I could make most of his meals for him. The dream is to sit and have lovely home-cooked, pointed, healthy family meals every evening and still lose weight. However, if I'm going to stop eating chicken then what can we all possibly eat together when he pretty much hates vegetables and has no intention at all of eating meat substitutes?
I'll deal with this when the time comes. He's away offshore for two weeks. So for now I just need to concentrate on getting cow's milk out my life and then I can deal with the chicken issue.
So today I've had a nutribullet and an alpro yogurt and I'm about to have a Tesco meat free burger in a sandwhich thin for lunch. But I've just realised the meat free burgers have egg in them?!! Can I PLEASE get a break?
Egg is not vegan right? urggh!!!
Anyway...I'm only cutting out milk for now so let's not get carried away with ourselves.
Got to pay the flower woman for wedding flowers today then start writing an essay.
Might go buy another packet of milk-free biscuits to help deal with the stress...
