Okay Rhys really shouldn’t have tried to fly across the landscape when there was a raging windstorm going on. But walking was taking too long in his search of some place to hole up for while until he could get off the god forsaken planet. He had been down there long enough for his tastes and would rather be back up in the cushy space station he called home for right now. But no he was stuck here.
Rhys thought he could make it across to one of the abandoned shacks that littered the planet all over the place. It was a short flight away and the winds haven’t stirred in awhile so maybe he’d get lucky and get over there before they picked up again. He was so wrong about that. A little more than half way over they had picked up and ultimately caught the sails of his wings and started to toss him all over the place much like a rag doll. The demon could tell which way was up nor down with all his spinning around.
It didn’t take long from the wind to send him hurtling back towards the earth. A screech came from the man as he was sent downwards at a great speed and hurtled right into another body. After impact he tumbled a few feet before landing on his face, arms at his side with his backside in the air and wings limp and spread out on either side of him. The demon groaned unhappily as he laid there.
