oh man, i can't think of anything in particular because i've never been creative on that front, but the harry potter fandom just before the seventh book was released was THE BEST on this front.
24. what was something you used to enjoy, but was ruined for you? what’s the story behind that?
ngl almost all of my answers are fandoms that i used to be a part of that i just cut myself out of one day because the wank got to be too much. mostly i really hate it when shade ruins my love for things i like, just because it makes me second guess liking things which is absolutely ridiculous. this is a very vague answer because i cannot think of a particular answer that stands out. probably wicked fandom and cast change wank, and a friend of mine (that i had feelings for that actually treated me really shitty) being heavily involved in it and it just really ruined all the fun i ever had with that fandom and now when i think back on it a lot of it is just bitterness save for a handful of friends i made that i still have.
oh my god yes. i think rae votta touched on it a little in the billboard recap, but there’s so much to be pulled from that performance.
the way he pauses at the beginning before "let's go all the way tonight" like he didn't really realize what exactly the lyrics were saying and just ugh
