happy birthday to one of my favorite protagonist, my favorite character in one of the animes i have deeply cherished, and the one who i spent simping for and crying because he was never going to be real in 2020; Nagisa Shiota
He was an eren to me before eren, like i literally loved him, because at first there was just this aesthetically pleasing look to him, in short i loved his androgynous appearance, and further i fell in love with his character, the way he looks in karma's words as harmless as a rat, but really he's a snake, his presence just carries fear, and menace by how stealthy he is and the amount of bloodlust he has, how he's so observant with other people that he can find an opening not only makes him a perfect assassin in his class but also makes up for his lack of strength, him during the island arc and civil war arc still remains one of my favorite scenes of him
Him and kororsensei's relationship is my favorite too, them starting out as an assassin and nagisa almost being the same then becoming a teacher and PLEASE THE WAY KOROSENSEI TALKED TO HIS DAD FOR NAGISA'S SAKE UGH, it's also tragic that he was the one to kill korosensei despite being the first to advocate to leave him as it is and save him
so yeah, happy birthday to the love of my life and best boy, i miss him so much
