Blog Entry #2 Looking, Thinking & Imitation Assignment C: Recreate a good typography. Ive chosen this piece of paper from a magazine. Several written mixtures that are well implemented, and I had to clone it. It was more tricky than I thought, because the typeruler told me something different than the scan I had inserted as the 2nd layer in the Indesign file. But I tried to find the balance, which I did relatively well in comparison. It was an exciting experience working with Typo like that. Of course, despite using the right fonts, I had to do a lot of kerning and line spacing as well.
