Thank the gods for Tumblr
Because Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield totally went Spideypool at the Golden Globes and I almost lost my pants then and there. Woosh, there they went, flying right off me.
Fuck me, but if this world were a good and true place, Spiderman wouldfeature in the Deadpool sequel and he’d spend a chunk of time in bed with Deadpool. Which is possibly why Marvel is never going to give me a job writing their movies, but that’s just their loss, humph.
Anyway, this awesome thing happens and does my social media go nuts over it? No! Not a sign of it on Facebook, not a mention on Twitter, I don’t even get any close up gifs on fucking Instagram. Instead it’s all clips of Meryl Streep (which, okay, is totally deserved, she’s fantastic and her speech was brilliant, go Meryl) and even Ryan Gosling’s own speech (which, yes, was quite a bit heartbreaking, and maybe might have almost made me cry and also deserves to be shared).
But what about the Ryan Reynolds-Andrew Garfield pash? Nothing! Not. A. Thing. And I can’t even post it myself without looking shallow, and also because I’ve already posted the Gosling and the Streep clips and I don’t even watch the fucking Golden Globes, because awards shows are Not My Thing.
So I come to Tumblr. Ah, Tumblr. It’s everywhere on Tumblr.
Yay Spideypool. Now I’m going to go watch that gif of Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield kissing again. Because a girl can never have too much of that.
