I have made the totally sane decision to tally how many times Atsushi is ass up as we rewatch.
What will be tallied
His butt up, chest on the floor - any angle. Obviously.
On his hands & knees but only an angle featuring his behind (ex. on his hands and knees but we see a side angle, that would not count.)
Only counting each unique time his gluteus maximus is in the air (ex. ep 1 after turning to a tiger he is ass up for 3 shots, but it’s because that whole time he didn’t move.)
I’m tagging this #assushi and will just make new posts for each ep. Posted on the day of rewatch. Reblogging will get too long. If there’s no assushi, I will not post unless there’s another butt to talk about.
Each post will follow the format: ep count/ overall count/ honorable mentions.

Honorable mention: 3 shots of Atsushi with his bum in the air after he turned to a tiger. Meaning a total of 5 shots of Atsushi’s ass per this episode.
THAT MEANS WE GET ON AVERAGE ASSUSHI EVERY FOUR MINUTES

I am going to make a dashboard for the assushi data. I wireframed (designed) what it is gonna look like. (All the data atm is fake) but loooook:

Okay okay so I am planning for the counters to do a cute flip animation when you open it, so imagine that.
Here also is the loading page design I have. I am going to make a gif of byakko's tail doing the cat wag thing.
On the graph I am going to have a popover for each data point like this:
also clicking that peach in the top corner will open up a modal (popup window) that will explain the rules of assushi.
I could potentially also add the fisheye data on here somehow. idk.
I am open to any feedback or ideas as long as you are nice bc i am sensitive lol <3
I am hoping I can finish this before we finish season 1, but I'll keep y'all posted.
AND AND AND I am going to make something for myself to easily capture the data and then automaticlaly upload this page. But only I will be able to go on there so the data doesn't get messed up.

All of you are so talented and have such beautiful minds. I'm always amazed by other's art on here or laughing at y'alls silly posts. I am still kind of new to tumblr and tumblr culture, but this bsd side of the internet is fun. I like y'all lol.
