Explain Astheria like I just woke up from an 8 year coma and have no clue whats going on here?

Trust me, I've woken up from a similar coma with 5000 ideas.

Astheria is an island country in the middle of the Long Sea, being a sort of union between the native fey and the arriving merfolk, phetri and humanoids. It's a land where technology, magic and art go hand in hand. They believe in the Six Great Spirits of people that defended the country in times of pain and suffering, even at the cost of their own lives.

In simple terms?

Funky country with four species that worships spirits of people that defended it.

Will go into more detail with more asks.

Tomorrow is WBW! I'll introduce you all to Astheria once it rolls around. It's the biggest world building project I have ever done, and it's still far from being finished - however, I'll happily take asks about Astheria!
