The small apartment never felt so enormous and silent. Her heart was almost beating out of her chest while worries would consume her. Everything that had happened during her day off, didn’t cause her to feel relaxed prior the full moon night. She had cried more than she wanted to, she felt lonely despite having others she could count on. Andy’s safe. Andy’s safe. She’d repeat those words like a mantra, carving them in her brain but still it was so hard to let go of her thoughts and she didn’t want to bother Bash. Not really, not that night anyway. Her fingers typed a different number as she offered the blunt honesty.
I’m alone and scared, can you come over?
Zakary had offered, somehow, his friendship and she was willingly taking that; despite the fact their plans for the waterfall had been cancelled, she hoped that this time he’d appear. It wasn’t an ideal setting for their second meeting, not that this one would also be. Aleyna washed her face, hoping her eyes weren’t as red as they were at the beginning of that night and waited. No radio, no television, no phone was able to remove her from her thoughts. That Leon was missing, the full moon was coming closer and she was over the edge. Hearing the sound coming from her door was close to reaching heaven, and as she opened the door, she allowed her features to seem at least more peaceful. “Thank you,” she first expressed. “Andy’s not here and I guess I just needed someone-- I didn’t disturb you or anything, right?”
