Kai enjoyed museums, it was the most frequent thing he visited when he entered a city. That is what had him inside Astoria’s Natural History Museum. What excited him most about this place is the prospect of there being more supernatural history within it. Normally he had to make decisions or pull from his own knowledge from his time on earth about what things were supernatural and what were not inside buildings such as the one he stood in at that moment. “I am sure they will have them out as soon as they can.” He answered the man, who likely was not talking to him. “Funny, I have journals from the seventeenth century dating to the present, I wonder if they would be worth something to historians.” Kai laughed, never having thought about it until that moment looking at someone else’s journal. It would be strange to have his personal history spread out for the world to see. He wasn’t sure he’d like it much. But, then again, maybe he wouldn’t mind if it educated someone.

“What?!” the response came out a lot louder than Teddy had intended, in part because of the surprise of being heard and because of what the man had actually said. “You’re kidding,” he started but this time at a much lower volume. There wasn’t a rule that you had to be quiet in a museum, but it certainly wasn’t conductive to the primary purpose of being there which was absorbing the artifacts in front of you. “That would be amazing - and that’s me speaking from a purely academic point.” If Kai had known Teddy, it would have been an absolutely bold-faced lie. There was as much personal interest there for him as there was an academic one. He began to babble, “Would you let me see them? Wait - no, I’m sorry, that’s really rude. I don’t even know your name. I’m Taerin or Teddy whichever you prefer.”
