There were ripples of mistrust in the kingdom. Reports coming in for weeks had confirmed the whispers, and they were becoming more frequent. Nephrite had to leave to settle a dispute in his region, and Zoisite was pacifying lieutenants from his home. All this disruption had started after she had come.

Endymion hadn’t always escaped his guard so often as he did now, and people had begun to notice. The moon princess was bad news, and a danger to the kingdom. So Kunzite had spent the better part of the day tracking them both, as soon as he found them, he would make Endymion leave and figure out some way to convince that princess to stay away. She put the whole kingdom at risk. She was trouble, Kunzite could feel it.

He thought for a moment he had found her, the blonde hair was deceiving at first. But a longer look told Kunzite she was not the princess who had so easily enraptured his master. Her hair was more golden than silver, she was taller, older, he thought, but there was that air about her that told Kunzite she was not of this world. She was not to be trusted.

Nephrite would’ve snuck up behind her, sword to her back, Zoisite probably would’ve retreated to the shadows to follow until he discovered her reason for being there. But it was Jadeite’s method Kunzite now employed. He crossed his arms, trying to appear cool, as though he wasn’t following her every move with wariness, should she try to fight, he wanted to be ready.

“You surely cannot be here for pleasure, what is your purpose?”
