Currently due to money and budgeting I only have two Tarot Decks (i had more in the past but its a long story). the Rider Waite Deck which I’ve had the longest by far and then my newest deck since I finally have a stable income is my Dark Fairytale deck by Lo Scarabeo. I then also have my colormancy deck, my favorite amethyst homemade pendulum, and then my bag of throwing crystals for crystal divination. I also am a practicer of Nephlomancy (using clouds to predict the future) and numerous scrying methods. I am also a fan of lucid dreaming and dreamwork though that is more of a personal divining method. I also have over 100 dice I use for dice divination and obviously do shufflemancy. Tasseography, aura reading and palmistry are methods I’m still in the works of learning and hope to improve on very soon.
My favorite ways to divine have to be colormancy, tarot divination, dice divination and I adore my crystal divination. It really depends on what the question is being asked. My Dark Fairtytale deck i tend to use for romance based questions for it is what it prefers to answer. My Rider Deck I use mostly for past life work or really big reading sessions and special spreads as well as communication spreads with deities. He much prefers being used for bigger more energy needed things. He is also the one I use more for personal divination and questions, though he can be rather… blunt and too honest when giving romance readings to others. He is very much a deck who likes to slap people in the face with reality. My Dark Fairtytale deck is much more reserved and puts things in lighter nicer lights and works better on others when it comes to emotional things. Rider is a bit too aggressive in his advice for romance divination, though he is very good for smacking sense into people.I use crystal throwing when we need a lot of detail in something such as really in depth answers and advice are needed. I am sure to always ground myself before doing one, they can be extremely draining especially for first timers. I have a big bag and i close my eyes, focusing my energy and on the questions at hand while moving my hand through the crystals. Once I feel almost a strong innerly tug I pull out the handful I have and drop them onto my crystal chart and only then open my eyes.
Past life work I always use my tarot deck (Rider) and past life spreads. For communication purposes with deities, guides and guardians I use tarot and sometimes crystals. Though for me, although it can be quite draining, tarot works the best.
I use Nephlomancy to help indicate how particular spells have gone as well as a more personal method. Dreamwork i use to decipher warnings aimed at me or important things that are coming.
As for Dice work I use it mostly to decide between paths and choices. Help me lower down my options or to figure out outcomes.
As for elements oddly enough I find I am strongly drawn to both Air and Earth. I use a lot of magic related to Air (divination, dreamwork, glamour, mirror work, wind spells, weather spells, and past life work) but I also do a lot with earth related things too such as tea magic, herbal magic, crystal work and divination, animal work and animal guide work. I have found I am in an odd middle between them. I have my head up in the clouds and I would give anything to ride along with the winds but I also love the trees that grow from our earth and enjoy grounding myself to focus. I’m both a free-spirit and a rational thinker. It makes some of my choices quite conflicting but I feel I have found my balance.
