"You really think that little of yourself? You have never been any trouble, if I didn't want to bother with you Cal, I simply wouldn't."
Sean had, after all, always been honest to a fault. The truth was, it wasn't Cal's home that Sean had took him and BD to, it was his own. A home that even though it had been awhile, Sean had hoped Cal would be comfortable in.
It hadn't changed much. Still the same house, still the same white picket fence, still the same carrot patch with a wooden sign that read "Keep ON the flowers" The moment they had opened the door, Sean headed straight to the kitchen to put on a kettle for tea.
"When was the last time you have eaten? Had a shower? Go on and raid the fridge, make yourself a sandwich, I'll lend you some clothes."
Before Cal could protest, Sean had already left the room to head to his closet in search for something at least partially suitable for Cal to wear.
