Primrose and Astrid were up early the next morning reminiscing about when they were younger and how crazy it was their oldest was staring high school today. They were laughing about a memory when Astrid couldn't stop laughing and fell to the ground dead.

Primrose knew she had no luck when it came to the grim reaper, but she had to try and plead for a wife's life. Unfortunately, just like with her dad, Primrose's pleas went on deaf ears and Astrid was gone. Primrose called for a day off so she could take her wife to the family graveyard to put her to rest.

RIP Astrid, the Moonlight to Prim's Sunlight. You were taken from us way too soon but gosh were you loved.

Winter had gathered all of their family at the dining room table to talk to them.

"Mom, Mama, Dove, Falcon, I have something important I want to tell yall", Winter said nervously. "I am nonbinary, and I would love it if yall would use my preferred pronouns moving forward of they/them".

Astrid was the first to congratulate Winter on telling them and obviously would use their preferred pronouns moving forward and gave them a hug.

Primrose explained how it would take some getting used to but of course she respected her child's wishes and gave them a hug.

Dove and Falcon didn't seem bothered by it at all. They concluded that Winter was still Winter to them and instead of using the term big sister they would use the term older sibling.

It's both Astrid and Winter's birthday's today and Astrid wants to have her birthday alone just because she is worried Prim might not love her anymore now that she is old. She notices Primrose coming into the kitchen with a frown on her face.

"Hey, wait for me I want to celebrate your birthday with you", exclaimed Primrose.

Astrid blew out her candles with a sigh and then went into the bathroom to cut her hair like she had planned to do earlier. Coming back out and into the kitchen she said:

"Well, here is the new me,". "Do you still love me even though i'm old and wrinkled". "I'm joking of course".

Primrose may be oblivious at times, but she isn't stupid she knew her wife wasn't joking and that this was a serious question.

"My Moonlight, you are as beautiful now as you were when we were 16, no even more beautiful now". "I love you so much".

Crying the two wives shared a beautiful hug and got ready for their first born to wake up and become a teenager.

After Primrose got off of work, she took her wife and kids to the park for a nice picnic. Everyone was enjoying the nice summer day with some hamburger sliders.

Winter went off to play basketball with some random kids and the twins invited their new friends to come hangout. The twins noticed that both Daphne and Tristen were sad.

They found out that Daphne lost a family member and Tristen got caught stealing and had lost access to the home computer. Having learned how to cheer people up from their sister, they both managed to get their friends in a good mood.

It's Winter's first big game and all of her family is here to watch and cheer her on. Winter's team the Oasis Opals are taking on the Willow Wolves.

After 4 grueling quarters the Oasis Opals won 46-43 with Winter taking the winning shot for the team.

Now that all of their kids are children and no longer toddlers, and since they have that extra bedroom downstairs, it was time to give them their own bedrooms.

This would be a hard discussion for Astrid because she knows nobody wants their grandmother's old bedroom because of how small it is. Sitting around the table they discussed who would get which room.

Caring about her little siblings, Winter spoke up:

"I will take grandma's old room and Dove can have my old room".

Smiling at her oldest Astrid said:

"Thank you, Winter and as a treat yall can design the rooms however you want."

Winter kept all of her grey furniture but bought some sports posters and cute chairs to put next to her bookcase. Falcon was simple all he wanted was blue, chess table and it all to look neat. Just like her mom, Dove's favorite color is yellow, and she got herself a violin and creativity table.

It's Dove and Falcon's birthday. Mom has Dove to age up and Mama has Falcon. Dove is our creative music lover so maybe she can inspire Winter into loving singing. Falcon is our nerdy neat boy so he can always clean up after Winter in the future.
