astrid snorted. "you were barely a child back then." she chuckled but her expression did soften and she blushed at the following words. "i'll never understand why you choose me and not some younger person." she told her girlfriend and looked at her young hands on her older skin. she had never thought she'd be together with someone so much younger. it made her insecure sometimes, yet she felt flattered at the same time. it was a very unique experience, to be both super excited and very insecure. "i just... feel really old."

"i think quite the opposite." she told her with a sultry voice but as a judge, she had a lot of power here so she stepped back; she didn't want the other woman to feel threatened or forced into tolerating something she otherwise wouldn't.
