Tobias was quite a busy man - between his work on television, activism, many public events, and speaking up, he didn't get into any sort of meaningful relationship for a while. Not that he didn't want to, somewhere deep inside of him was a hopeless romantic still and he just assumed the right person didn't come his way yet. And not everyone could easily get his attention, not in that way at least. But after one of the famous talk shows on late-night television, he was formally introduced to Atlas. Natually, Tobias knew who he was, and followed his work closely, both in acting and activism. It was most certainly a pleasure to meet him in person. They shared a few good sentences, seemed to see eye to eye on a lot, and the conversations continued through texts, even a phone call or two. And there he was tonight, attending a cocktail after a premiere of his film in their city. As always, Tobias was chit-chatting with people but when his gaze met with Atlas, and seeing he excused himself, Tobias followed in suit and walked towards the other. "Thank you for inviting me, it was a great experience. The movie is amazing, I think the standing ovation says it all. And you were brilliant, of course."he mused with a sincere smile.

Abigail scoffed, arms crossed at the very notion she had thought about running away with him - he wouldn't give him the pleasure (even if she had wondered about him aplenty).

"Frank is a really nice guy." As though saying it aloud would help.

"And you chose to break into my home to wish me happiness? Couldn't have just sent me a card like a normal person?" She spoke incredulously. "Why not a single word for years and then a week before my wedding you turn up, Liam?"

Although Victor had been dating off and on for years now he hadn't found anyone that seriously kept his interest. Belle though, was someone he wanted to keep around. Not only was she gorgeous but there was something about her that made him feel comfortable compared to other women. Which is why he wanted to do anything and everything to keep her in his life. "Hey, so I'm happy with where things are going with us and I hope you're happy too. But uh I wanted to make a little proposition of sorts. Are you familiar with a sugar baby slash daddy relationship?"

It had been four years since his camera lens had captured Adrian’s sculptured features. The pair met a few times in the past, but time and distance drove them to different paths. It was a coincidence Spencer had discovered a familiar face in the sea of strangers, while taking a stroll through the city, and concluding in that specific spot to snap some pictures during golden hour. While savouring the sun on his face and pushing a lock of hair out of his sight, he decided to take a few long steps forward to meet the man. 

“You’re still as handsome as usual…” his voice mentioned in a bold manner. He positioned himself in front of Adrian Holloway, as the photographer drew a broad smile on his lips and fixed his eyes on his opposite. “If I didn’t know better… I’d be inclined to think you’re stalking me… “ he teased, raising his eyebrows with a soft chuckle. “But clearly it’s been too long… how are you, Adrian?” Davies genuinely asked, his heartbeat against his chest and the air caressing his hair, as he opened his arms as a clear invitation for a warm hug.

After another busy Saturday night, work was almost for Carrick, the last thing to do was cleaning up the place. The kitchen staff got the back covered and there was him to take care of the front, this was a regular thing for him, although tedious it was kind of relaxing and today particularly it was more entertaining as one of the waitresses used the stage to practice her songs. Jolene had a beautiful voice and he Carrick enjoyed listening to her; what he wouldn't ever disclose was the fact he also found her incredibly gorgeous since he was her boss; it didn't affect there friendly relationship in the very least as he wasn't a creep and just as with everyone else in the staff, Carrick kept a respectful distance.

"Now, that sounded good." Carrick congratulated Jolene from behind the bar as he wiped the counter of all the spilled liquor. "How're the shows going?"

His eyes were fixated on the painting hanging in front of him. He’d always appreciated art in all of its forms, but his mind was elsewhere at the moment. Flashes of that night almost three years ago in which he had walked into a ravished apartment only to find the greatest horror of his life. The brushes of black paint on the background of the painting made him close his fist as his heart ached once again with the pain and sorrow he’d felt while holding Gabrielle’s lifeless corpse. He shook the memories away as he turned to grab two glasses of champagne from a waiter, putting on his charming smile and making his way through the crowd.

There was no time to get lost in any thoughts. It had taken him a while, but he had been tipped off about a particular gang that could’ve had something to do with his fiancée’s murder. He was there for the sole purpose of getting to the bottom of it, however long it took. That was when he spotted her— beautiful, he thought, though probably just as lethal. Gathering up, Jeremy walked over and handed the brunette one of the glasses. “Pardon my interruption, love, but I was told you were the owner?” He wondered, staring directly into her eyes, a grin forming on his lips.

They were just supposed to be working, but Eden made it hard for Tavi to stay professional. She was so beautiful, so interesting. He had been thinking about kissing her for quite some time as they roamed Latin America together, following their story. But she beat him to the punch, pushing him up against the rough brick as they walked down the mostly empty, mud streets. He sighed as she kissed him, touching her face just gently. When she pulled away, he smiled softly at her. "I knew this was going to be a problem..."

It was a very rare thing for the lawyer to be home, keeping ridiculous hours and working more than he actually spent time doing anything else let alone staying an entire evening in his apartment. But he'd been scolded by his secretary and then his superior for not getting rest, something the vampire didn't need but maintaining an imagine in the human world as something he wasn't required him to seem like he needed rest. So he gathered some things from a store, even though he didn't need to eat he enjoyed food still on occasion and planned on making some food then getting back to work. Of course it wouldn't do much to help the exhaustion that hung around him but Jake felt his time was better served helping his clients and those that could not otherwise help themselves.

He was putting away the few things he'd brought home when he heard it, the rough and harsh sound of a drunkard getting off the elevator that opened on the same floor as his apartment. The vampire paused, his brow creased as he didn't think any of his neighbors would entertain anyone of such a character. Then again, he hadn't been home in quite a few weeks and that was plenty of time for new people to wander into the apartments whom Jacob had not met. In his stillness he sensed many things, the wandering scent of the man that meandered down the hall, slumping against the wall and muttering incoherently under his breath until he was in front of a door that made Jake shift closer to his door, brow creased even more than before.

His neighbor across the hall was a beautiful young woman, Ada, if he remembered correctly and they had their moments in the hall or down by the mailboxes, flirty little glances in the laundry room before Jake had gotten his own. She was sweet and in a world where Jacob let himself even entertain any sort of life outside of running himself into the ground for work he would have pursued something outside of their sparse moments in the hallways. The drunk started banging loudly on Ada's door and Jake felt every muscle in his body tense, still like a predator. He listened, hoping that Ada was gone or wouldn't answer her door, that perhaps the man would leave without altercation on his own but an uneasiness overtook him as slurred words filtered loudly into his apartment from the hall. Her father, the drunk was her father.
