Race: half elf-human

Gender and pronouns: female, she/her

First, middle, and last name: Astrid Faervel Starwright

Nickname: none yet

Birthday and age: January 7, 25 years old

Height: 176 cm

Desired class (must be approved by either Zelda, Dizzy, Jack, or Liv) : Traveller mage (?), later Knight of Sanctuary

Family: Adam Starwright - father, deceased ??? - mother, is she still alive?? She might have a twin sister but never really met her..??

Spouse/fiancé/boyfriend/girlfriend: Forever alone (but also open to a future relationship..?)

Allies: none at the beginning, but will change..~

Enemies: basically the world - she tries her best to survive

Preferred weapon: bow and arrows, magic (for safety) but fine with a longsword and shorter blades too

Horse (optional): Midnight, a black courser (according to the medieval breed thing reblogged. He has friesian-like features), she had him for 4 years

Birthplace: Firgrove

Place of residence: travelling, prefers forests though

Things nobody asked for:

Personality and fighting style: Astrid is seems to be a distant, selfish person. She cares little of others, fights for her own good (and therebefore can’t be bothered with the kingdoms’ business). She’s glad to offer her help for a nice payment - she might not actually do anything but get away with the money. Not afraid to lie, steal or kill to achieve what she wants. She’s only loyal to herself and to those she finds worthy. Has serious trust issues. Deep down she’s fierce and maybe a little bit good and sensitive but hides it well. Strongly believes in Aideen and the fact that humans are cruel creatures ruining the world. She likes to stay in the shadows, when fighting she usually climbs a tree and shoots arrows and spells from here. She may not be the best with face-to-face fights but can defend herself with a sword and defeat her opponent - not in a fair way but after all there won’t be anybody left to complain. She also knows nature and plant pretty well - better look what kind of herbs she uses when “healing”. Has a habit of poisoning unfortunate travellers or sneaking into inns and chatting with drunk folk then taking their money. Midnight is originally a proud horse, once owned by a knight but he learn to step over it. He’s always on guard and even though he’s very brave and noble he’s probably still one of the most cautious horses. Astrid isn’t sure what he’s been through before she found him but she feels a strong connection to him.

Backstory-ish facts: ☀ Astrid’s parents had a slight misunderstanding: then her mother (elven mistress?? who was she actually??) killed her father (heir of a noble family but lost his money and home due to war) and disappeared ☀ Her childhood is the biggest mystery ever (will she ever talk about it?) ☀ Grew up in Valedale, learnt magic from the druids (no details, all secret) ☀ Can write ☀ Used to steal horses then sell them later (because her lifestyle is not exactly horse-friendly in the long run) ☀ She found Midnight in Firgrove, attacked my a pack of wolves (he probably ran away after some battle and ended up here) ☀ She doesn’t plan on selling him because (too selfish, just admit it, you love that horse more than anything) she feels like nobody would accept him

I did some design for Astrid... Probably using it later when there’s an AU where people wear fancy clothes for no reason.

So yea i wanted to do many things but then this happened and now I kind of have an idea about a halloween-themed dress-up event taking place at Astrid’s stables. It’s not a big thing, something like the cosplay contest but everyone has to ride a freestyle dressage test and/or do a little show jumping course. There aren’t really placings it’s just some sort of end of spring/summer/fall competition season. So it’s just Astrid trying some pieces on Midnight while having a probably very meaningful and serious discussion. I will probably draw them all dressed up doing their test too if there’s time for that. Anyway if you would like to see your character be part of this totally imagined thing, let me know. Not sure I will get to draw it but it seems like a fun challenge.
