Official Business: Astrid and Rapunzel [closed]
Through all the hustle and bustle of the buzzing kingdom of Corona weaved the Lost Princess – except now, of course, she was Found. As future Queen of her kingdom and only a short amount of time in said kingdom, she had a lot of catching up to do. One thing she’s to learn is the art of truce and trading between countries and other established civilizations. And that is exactly what her parents, the King and Queen, had sent her to do today. As she walked past her newfound subjects she received warm ‘hello’s’ and ‘how are you doing?’s, and while she returned them with a warm smile, today wasn’t a day for smalltalk with the townspeople: she had business to take care of.
With the cobblestone of the streets warm under the soft skin of her bare feet, she began to reach the edge of the kingdom where the stones broke off and scattered into lush green grass. It was here that she was expecting to meet with an official from a land across the sea called Berk. Rapunzel didn’t understand why she wouldn’t be meeting them at the shipyard where all the other visiting royals and officials arrive, but she wasn’t one to ask many questions when it came to kingdom business.
The wind tried to bat at her blonde hair, but she had it twisted back into a long braid by some wonderful young girls in the village the day before, so instead only wispy fly-aways caught in the breeze. A pair of the castle’s finest guards trailed behind her, but, per her request, stayed on the paved part of the ground. If she was going to figure this out on her own, she’d prefer to be as on her own as possible.
She turned to the guards and shrugged, looking for a nod of approval; is this the place? They looked at each other, nodded, then looked back to her and one of them smiled; this is it. She gave a small smile back, thanking the guards.
“Now all that’s left to do is wait.”
