Clinique’s Clarifying Lotion: Everyday Exfoliator, Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + and Liquid Facial Soap Mild were a HUGE let-down for me! My face constantly felt dried out. I have combination/normal skin. It’s mainly just oily in the T zone and dry on my cheeks and jaw. These products made my skin feel chemically burnt, raw, and dryer than a desert. I started out by religiously following the instructions but by the 3rd month, I was using the smallest amount of the soap, none of the astringent/”exfoliator” and a huge ass amount of the lotion. Definitely not ideal.

I had to switch to a different line because my face was so red and breaking out worse than before I started.

***I would rate Clinique 1 out of 5 stars. I love that they had every step to a skincare routine, but their products had very adverse reactions. I recognize that everyone’s bodies are different and there are some people who may really enjoy Clinique, but I can’t recommend them based on my experience.

TLDR; There is a good chance that Clinique will dry out your skin.
