Astro (Full Reference) | Copic, ink, Prismacolor pencils, Posca, stickers
I decided recently after being inspired by so many of my beautiful artist friends that cringe is dead so I absolutely threw myself into this ref and indulged. I hadn't felt as inspired to create as I did while making this reference. The thing I'm the most proud of are the iridescent wings done in Prismacolor pencils! Aside from cleaning this up and reorganizing the layout, this piece is entirely traditional.
💜✨Astrology and Manifestation✨💜
In a previous post I proposed that your natal chart is like an advisory committee for your "soul"/consciousness. The planets represent different advisors with different specialties.
I developed this unique interpretation style to integrate astrology and manifestation. More precisely, I seek to unify these two basic principles of cosmic law:
The stars and planets exert ✵ cosmic forces✵ that influence consciousness
Consciousness itself exerts a ✵ cosmic force✵ that creates reality
Popular astrology can be limiting and undermine principle 2) above because it tends to treat the energy you were born under as a destiny rather than an alchemical blueprint or guide, so people over-identify with (and therefore manifest) shortcomings and limitations based around external cosmic forces.
For example, the Sun. Rather than predetermining your personality from cradle to grave, I prefer to view the Sun as advice for developing self-concept: who is it that you aspire to be, and what qualities do you desire to embody and be acknowledged for during this incarnation?
This is information you can apply as you design and build your own unique self-concept on your manifestation journey, but it doesn't tell you who to be -- it's just a guide for what kinds of things are most important for maintaining a healthy ego and what intrinsically motivates you to pursue goals.
(This is especially given that tropical astrology is technically not accurate because it does not account for precession and the actual location of the planets...vedic astrology is more accurate for real predictions, as opposed to a Jungian psychology tool)
the planets as advisors
here is a great + easy way to develop intuition for interpreting astrology placements is to think of them as a committee of different advisors for your soul.
Planet = their role on the committee. what overarching aspect of your life they are advising you about
Sign = their style as an advisor. how they deliver advice + what kind of advice they give you
House = area of expertise they concentrate on + carry the most influence + give the best advice
Ofc when you consider rulership, aspects, persona charts, etc. it gets more complicated but for beginners it works

so like. past 15 mo.s have been Fucking Terrible and ive been praying a lot n asking n stuff like that and i j got my tarot read and WEW!!!!!!!!!! so when he was shuffling the 10 of wands popped out ‘on accident’ and apparently tht means ive been carrying a heavy burden (.....i have.....omg.......) then he was shuffling again and the Tower popped out and tht means sudden change,,,, which was a lil ??? but also it kinda makes sense bc there def have been some sudden changes. then he actually drew my cards: 3 of wands, the Star, 4 of cups, and the page of cups. so basically he said smth abt how ‘the ships youve sent out r coming into harbor n theyre bringing treasure’ aka like. my aspirations n stuff r gonna come tru??? or like i need to work on them n theyll come tru???? then the star was basically like. its backed by the universe I think is what he said. so basically God got me lol. then the 4 of cups means tht smth new is coming which is nice!!!! i cant remember what the page of cups was abt but apparently thts p powerful or smth? n then he didnt draw but he showed me the bottom of the deck n it was the queen of pentacles n he was talking abt how i need to focus on my earthly aspirations n i will b backed by the Universe so basically?????????
