sorry if this is a stupid question lol but in Vedic astrology which planets/placements affect appearance the most? Or does it stay the same? thx 💗

Oh, there's no stupid questions. I was super confused by pretty much everything when I first started learning astrology.

The good news : your big 3 matter ☀️🌙 🚀

But....

The ascendant is super important of course. The moon sign is the key focus. But there's an additional nuance to it. Let's say your (sidereal not tropical) ascendant is cancer. So the ruler is the moon right?

Not necessarily.

For example, If its between 3 and degree of cancer that would make your rising Nakshatra Pushya Nakshatra which is ruled by saturn. Now people with dominant moon energy would most definitely have more rounded / gentle physical features compared to someone more saturnine.

Do this for your moon and sun Nakshatra also. In some cases the moon's Nakshatra lord is the dominant planet and you need not look further.

Sometimes your sun-moon-rising can give you three different Planets. Mine does. So I look at the planet in the ascendant and what sign it's placed in. Mars in the first in a Mars Ruled Nakshatra. My moon is also Mars ruled and that's the one I resonate with the most. This is the same as looking for sign and house placements for first lord or Planets in the first house.

So, in vedic astro we consider the Nakshatras. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are omitted. There's a fascinating research that links Rahu-Ketu (North node-South node axis ) to these 3 outer Planets.

The rulerships also differ.

Aquarius is ruled by saturn not Uranus.

Mars rules BOTH Aries and Scorpio.

Jupiter rules Pisces.

Additionally, you have to remember that sometimes a planet can be dominant due to its rulership of other key placements or aspects and angular placements of the chart.

Aspects : vedic astrology considers trines and oppositions. But each planet also influences houses at X place from itself.

X varies based on the individual planet.

So if your ascendant / moon/ sun is influenced by another planet it could certainly alter your physical appearance.

To find out which planet is your Dominant energy, I'd recommend using the cosmic insights app as otherwise you'd have to individually look up each of your planetary placements and figure out their Nakshatra lords. Plug in your details, go to the charts section and you're set 😄

What do you think about Rohini nakshatra individuals ?

Omg, absolutely adore this question. My moon is in Mrigashira so I feel like I can relate to them quite well.

Right off the bat they're Venus (Beauty) personified.

With rohini sun folks I'm usually a little intimidated by them(sunoon conjunction in synastry) . They can have a bit of a quiet / resting bitch face kind of a demeanor about them. Their beauty projects strength.

The first thing I notice about Rohini natives is their style / appearance. I kept complimenting a girl at work who had this placement so much that she thought I was mocking her. 😂 I swear I wasn't. Chances are your friends look at you and go, wow she really rocks that dress

Really appreciate Rohini dressing sense. I feel like they can style outfits really well.

I've noticed that the polarity in this sign can be a little flipped. Rohini men I knew seemed to prefer softer colors whereas the women had more of a denim and loud vibe to them.

They're often stubborn and have a slightly broad build.

If this is your moon sign, you probably eat your woes away or indulge in retail therapy as a way to self soothe?

In a lot of my RESEARCh, Rohini has popped up as the quintessential sugar baby, vulnerable pretty person archetype. The kind that makes the oppositesex(more so with women) chase after them.
