They accidentally changed the shading mode from texture to solid, by default that is in the middle below the camera view

Yeah, I was going to guess something with their texture was off. That's never happened to me even when I first opened Blender but thank you!

Seriously me too! Sometimes I just want my sims to stay home and just relax. And I never bought freetime when I had ts2, I thought it was a waste of space on my computer lol.

If I change the sims3 folder thesims 3 bin I have to change all the expansions also?

I did not change all of them, and yet they all changed. Double-check yours after changing.
