romance/sex headcanon
I feel like I've replied something like this in somewhat lengthy manner before but uh let's see... Yamashina's not particularly shy or anything (see later uh... much chapters haha) but he's kind of scaredy cat unless he kind of mentally kicks himself to just do it - whether it's sex or relationship thing. He kind of needs to gather courage first and then just...go.
In relationship he would be loyal while when he has no problems with one night stands, preferably a stranger probably without catching name, probably would try sneaking off in the morning.
for a sleep headcanon
Used to staying up late Yamashina's sleeping is irregular and often restless. He has no qualms sleeping in uncomfortable places but he'll always regret it in the morning. Usually it's the work that keeps him awake but sometimes it might be a book or something else like that but he's definitely a night owl.
death headcanon
Yamashina has pretty strong sense of justice and he does take his job as a police pretty seriously but he might still joke at the expense of a corpse. Ofc not when someone related to the body would be there but otherwise. He's only skeevish with the worst cases really. Something he's used to seen in his job really.
If it's his own death he holds his own life just as important as someone's dear to him but he might regardless end up sacrificing himself for them if he sees no other option.

Send ♫ for a music/sound headcanon
Being adequately skilled in playing the piano, Laito's ideal "styling" of music is something somber, melancholic. If he may be so bold to say... alluring, as well. They say music is a window to the musician's soul, so what would his genre of choice say about Laito?
