It had only been a couple of days since Mary Kate had gotten back from her travels, but she’d quickly settled back into the routine of ASU. Class, homework, practice, friends -- she was still juggling it all fine for now, and even had a little bit of time left over to spare. Which was good, because her friends had mostly complained about her ghosting them for the last month of summer, and the extra time was going towards making it up to the people who had missed her... and maybe towards avoiding the one that she assumed hadn’t. She was pretty sure she didn’t run the risk of running into anyone in the dorm kitchens, though, where she’d told Hayden to come meet her for what was probably about to be the worst dinner of all time.
“You’re brave for coming,” Mary Kate called over her shoulder as she heard footsteps behind her in the room, right as she pushed the oven door closed. She’d gotten the pizza safely onto the rack, and her timer was set, but a promising start had turned into a total cooking disaster with her before. “I promise I bought snacks that I can’t mess up, though, just in case we end up having to have some kind of funeral for this pizza,” she teased, waving happily to her friend as she walked over to greet him with a hug.

Since you were kind enough to, you know, FEED ME when I got back from my trip and make sure that I didn’t completely whither away and die before classes even started, I was thinking I should return the favor with more than just ice cream. So would you, Hayden Arendelle, be brave enough to let me try and make you a freezer pizza? I promise I will do my absolute very best not to burn it, but uh... I still make no promises. So I had this really weird dream last night about that game we played against Camelot Heights last year, the one where I sprained my ankle and had to walk around on crutches for two weeks afterwards because I had so many meetings that I could never sit still and just prop it up long enough for it to heal.✉️ → hayden: But anyway, instead of me shuffling myself all around the kingdom like I did in real life, in my dream you had ice powers like your mom and you made it so that everywhere I went, I was inside of a bobsled. And you just followed me around creating paths in front of me everywhere I went so I could just slide all around the kingdom.✉️ → hayden: I thought it was pretty funny so I wanted to share! And if it’s not funny, then maybe it’s a weird premonition that your ice powers are coming. (Don’t worry, unless you start using them for evil I won’t tell Fairy Godmother)
