I want to thank you because you got my friend into Acidstorm/Sunstorm, and she got me into it, and now its one of my favorite pairings! And your art is awesome!! * wants to hug Sunstorm but doesnt want to die*

Oh gosh, it's great to hear that *u* it's one of my absolute favorite pet pairings, ahah. Thank you so much! I have a little drawing for them in the works, time permitting :x

(It feels like yesterday when my friends and I were making up discussing the pairing for the very first time, I'm quite excited that Sunstorm and the Rainmakers have seen a little more canon attention since then, too!)

ACIDSTORM/SUNSTORM >:D

Sure! :D HEADCANON AHOY.

Who’s more dominant: That would be Acid Storm if he ever had any initiative, but as it is, he doesn’t - Sunstorm does all the prodding and pulling and coaxing. Emotionally though, I like to think AS’s sort of passive zen moods are a grounding, calming factor that has a positive influence on Sunstorm. (Except when AS flips his shit, which happens, and then they both fight a LOT.)

Who’s the cuddler: Sunstorm. He is starved for touch since he cannot touch many others without accidentally killing them in gruesome radioactive ways.

Who’s the big spoon/little spoon: AS doesn’t spoon, he passively suffers Sunstorm’s clinginess however he prefers it.

What’s their favorite non-sexual activity: Sunstorm likes talking. A lot. Acid Storm likes to pretend he’s listening and keep doing his work in the meantime, it’s almost domestic. Unless they get into a religion vs. science argument.

A head canon: Since he makes acid rain for a living, Acid Storm is one of the few mechs with a resistant enough plating to not melt when Sunstorm touches him. Thanks to Shockwave, I’d say.

Favourite continuity: …I admit, I only read bits and pieces of Dreamwave. Anyway, it’s the only continuity where he got some serious spotlight, so…

Rank out of 10: A solid 8.

Pairings? Acid Storm/Sunstorm! Pretty sure a few friends and I literally invented it, and I am always thrilled that it got more fans along the way. :3c Plus they work so well together. 

Likes: he’s on fire! And he’s Starscream’s clone, but evidently so different from him, there’s so much potential there. (and the fact that he cannot technically TOUCH anyone without melting them, except selected few, is another exploitable headcanon point…)

Dislikes: …he’s on fire! He’s also varying degrees of nuts, but that can be spun in different and useful ways. 

General Opinions: I adore the novel and refreshing plot device he can be - a fanatic fundamentalist robot messiah? Who can melt your face off, depending on continuities? Obviously such a character has to be used… wisely, since it’s such a game changer, but I REALLY want to see more of him in newer continuities. Except Barber has apparently ruined that change for us by literally burning him off like a match in that one issue idk I haven’t read those RiD issues :T gg Barber what a waste. 

Look at him. He can sing. What a waste, RiD. What’s not to like?
