sorry to bother! :D i was just wondering, i saw your icon and it looks like its from a con, im guessing its taken professionally by people at the con, i was just wondering if you could talk about your experience with that? do they help you with posing? do they retake photos if you blink etc? thank you in advance!!!
It’s not a bother at all! I love helping people out XD ask away! It’s from the Asylum 10 con that was last May! Yeah :) they have professional photographers there to take the photos that are set up in a little room away from other events. The experience was absolutely incredibly, but it’s pretty fast! I think it depends on who you get a photo with. Obviously mine was with Misha, so he was very popular and they had a lot of people to fit in, so it was very rushed. But with the smaller actors you have more time to stop and chat and tell them what you’d like. They can help you with the poses if you’d like, if you’re not really sure what to do, some people take props, etc. Again with the smaller actors you can discuss it a bit more, whereas with people like Misha I think most people just do the standard hug. They sold far more tickets for the con last year than they would usually though, so everything was very rushed. Normally you would get more time to stop and chat and ask them to do a specific pose or something! You can do whatever you want really (as long as its appropriate), some people get them to pick them up! They retake the photos if they’re not happy with how they looked, so you’ll get a nice one, don’t worry! Hope this helped! If there’s anything else you’d like to know, I’d be happy to help!
Hahahahahahaaaa going through the Asylum 10 photos to find myself (because I've often yearned for a digital copy so that I can shop Misha to appear slightly less enthusiastically tanned :D) and spotting people who are now my buddies - a fun game!!
