Looking at the file before her, Hanbyul knew Miki would be a special case. Right off the bat, whoever had written the previous notes made sure that it was understood that this would have been the fifth facility the troubled young man would have entered. The previous four, mostly rehab based, did not seem to incite much of a change in the him and the doctor had to stop herself from criticizing professionals she had never met before. Of course, she herself was not there first hand and could only gather her newest client’s history from the various notes written in the file that accompanied him at registration but as he was only 20 years old and having been in four separate facilities already, it was obvious to her that none of the previous professionals had attempted to address the real question: what was underlying his addictions?
She shook her head softly as a soft rapping came to her office door, alerting her to his arrival for their session. She stood and called out with a cheery,”Come on in!” Hopefully she would have better luck.
