1, 3, and 9

1 - Best Transformation Sequence

I posted this one when I was doing my 30 day challenge (which I think I only made to, like, day 24). But for the challenge, I chose Cure Sunshine’s transformation because, to me, it seemed like Itsuki finally had a chance to be a girl. Which, as we saw from HCPC, was a big part of her character development.

3 - Worst Pretty Cure Outfit(s)

I added the “s” myself because I definitely thing that the Yes! season 1 outfits are horrendous.

9 - Favorite Group Attack

I think I’m torn between Pretty Cure Music Rondo Super Quartet (I’m counting it as a group attack, lol) or HeartCatch Orchestra. Both have great background music and both are really visually stunning to watch.

5 - Favorite Transformation music

Most definitely, hands down, Suite Pretty Cure’s transformation music. I don’t see how anyone can hate the “Let’s Play!” track. It’s gorgeous and I gush about this piece of music. Like oh my God I love it so much.

10 - Favorite Friendship

Hmm… This one is hard. Just because I don’t really think about it that much. But thinking about it now… I think I’d have to go with Saki & Mai’s friendship with Michiru and Kaoru. I just really loved the story arc that Splash Star did with Michiru and Kaoru and how they really nailed humanizing characters not from Earth. Seriously. That’s one of the reasons I love Splash Star so much. Michiru and Kaoru are wonderful characters who have gorgeous character developments and I’m gushing so I should stop.

13 - Favorite ED Dance

Oh wow. Um. Well.

I know what my favorite ending is. lol That would be a tie between “HeartCatch Paradise!” and “Pretty Cure Memory” but as for the dances? Gosh. I don’t know. I know I always find myself kind of doing the clap thing from “You Make Me H@ppy” from Fresh!, but jeez. I don’t really pay much attention do the dances.

17 - Favorite Theme

So I got started with Pretty Cure when Yes! season 1 was airing. And as I watched the show I really wanted a music theme. And then we got that with Suite, and I was so happy. That, and Suite stays true to the music theme. Like, there aren’t any sub themes. Suite is about music. That’s it. And I LOVE Suite for that. Because sometimes the sub themes get really confusing because they’ve decided to put so many into one season. (Looking at you Fresh!)

But after Suite came along, I really wanted card suits. We got that with Doki Doki, and they stuck with it pretty darn well. Doki Doki isn’t my favorite season by a long shot, but I think the people in charge wanted to do card suits, and they really delivered. So much so that Doki Doki inspired my own fan series based on card suits! So yeah, those are my favorite Pretty Cure themes. :)
