kinda sucks we expect 17 year olds to know what they want to do for the rest of their life

It’s the suicidal ideation I can’t forgive
red helped me survive my first real heartbreak and I’ll never be able to thank her enough
I’m SICK and TIRED of aces acting like they deserve to be part of the lgbt community. Like they’re entitled to our spaces simply because they’re a little “different” than what’s considered normal. As if that’s all our community is. As if there weren’t people only 51 YEARS ago fighting for their right to be them, fighting to hold hands in public with their partner without fearing arrest or even MURDER. The ace community will NEVER face the same struggles that the lgbt community has. Them simply getting questions they get tired of answering (“don’t you want kids?” Etc) will NEVER be the same as the systematic oppression we face. Their “coming out” about a lack of sexual attraction will NEVER compare to the lgbt community’s risk of abuse, homelessness, bullying, or worse when they come out. Aces aren’t inherently lgbt. Period.
(Note: this doesn’t include aces who are lesbian, gay, bi, or trans. Obviously being ace doesn’t suddenly make you not lgbt or dismiss the struggles you’ve faced. Being ace alone just doesn’t make you lgbt)
Do you ever think about how Ten and Jaemin must have performed and trained in so much pain but never stopped because they wanted to achieve their dreams?
I do. Then I cry a little because these boys deserve so much better. Knowing what they went through to get where the are blows my mind, and they were so young (still are). ❤
