Atamar is a Strayder, a species that evolved from ancient mythical beings known as Fire Frogs. She is the leader of the Isle of Milyntica: a tropical island far away from the mainland that many strayders call home. Her daughter Mara is next in line to lead.

She is a very authorative person, which is fitting for her leadership position. She is also a rich single mother with a very mysterious past, one that she never talks about.

Despite being rich and a she stays very grounded, always thinking logically and treating people with respect. She dislikes people who disrespect tradition and their ancestors, and people who are insincere.

Atamar always dresses practically, and likes to keep her many tattoos visible.

She also has a close relationship with her daughter Mara, and they live alone together in their big seaside house.
