he stims more visibly with his hands, for one. less energy to put towards avoiding it. lots of touch textures. textures good (he has more "acceptable" stims to indulge in other times and is also generally alone but this ask isn't about that. i'm just putting down what others would notice as a difference by looking at him)

overall a bit more. not floppy, but loose maybe? bigger gestures in the sense that it takes up more space and time to get there. they're less direct than normal. less effort into getting things Just So™

depends. for the most part: no. hugs mess up his hair and he puts a lot of effort into that. they do appreciate hugs when they need them though, they're just. the sort that needs it to be the right time from the right person, and prefer it when they start it. if he really needs a hug though he's coming in hot he's coming in hard you better be prepared
