i’ve had 13 rats, 11 since 2021, but currently have six, and their antics are occasionally documented here: @leos-rats

firstly, for those who’ve followed me in 2021-2023, we have the legendary Hickey the rat

who very much lived up to her name and i loved her as much as i could love anything ever. she and her rat pals that she lived with are documented on my rat blog

then for my 6 current girls, we have the eldests, toast and pretzel

toast is a perfect angel and anyone who sees my rats irl often says she’s their fav. pretzel is a neurotic socially anxious babe who craves routine.

THEN, finally, we have the four babies who i got in may last year: the breakfast club

egg is a destructive nightmare but so so cute. pancake is my little baby and also the smallest still, bagel and waffle are nearly identical and are so gentle and silly,,,,,,idky waffle is posed in that insane stance there but it represents her well.

anyway yeah thank you to everyone who still cares about my rats, bc the reason i got hickey and buckley in 2021 was mostly bc my tumblr mutuals told me how funny it would be given my ratboy appreciation, and how i had to call one hickey, and so i did, and they’ve changed my life ever since <3
