So it turns out that yup there is a big ass landfill in New Mexico filled with E.T. Atari 2600 carts....and some other games oddly enough

I agree here. It feels like a book that ended in mystery but just got a sequel with the end spoiled or explained. The sense/aura of mystery and ground for dispute surrounding it are pretty much gone at this point. However, it brings up the fact that carts that weren’t solely E.T. were found there and what that could possibly mean in the story of Atari’s downfall. Anyways, I guarantee if they get a complete 2600 down there it will power up. Games probably would work too.
