Did Lan Zhan in ATC ever put the pieces together about how Lan Sizhui was conceived? Or was he just as mistaken as Jiang Cheng for all those years?

he guessed the first time he met lan sizhui and during the scene of wei wuxian's death, wei wuxian admitted it to him directly, so yes he knew

So I was scrolling through your page and then realized I was lost- like, I lost the chapter of AtC I was reading ;-; cri

It was the chapter where Oikawa and Iwa chan were leaving. But they fought some uh forgot their names- with Daichi

hellooo. hope you're doing well! i wanted to ask you smth about atc and i'm really sorry if it was obvious... why didn't lan wangji bring wei wuxian to meet wen qing earlier? why did he wait for so long?

several people have asked me this so i guess it wasn't as clear as i wanted it to be haha

lan wangji is deeply scared of overwhelming wei wuxian and ending up causing an extreme reaction, as wei wuxian's suicide traumatized him very badly. he is planning from day one to bring him to wen qing, but he is also scared of how to explain who lan sizhui is to wei wuxian, why he ended up as his ward, the fact that he knows sizhui is wei wuxian's kid, etc. he doesn't know how to plan all this. so he's scared and being a little cowardly; wei wuxian doesn't remember their last meeting, and lan wangji wants to be by his side as long as he'll be allowed to, which he thinks will be impossible once wei wuxian remembers how they left things off.

so that's it. trauma, selfishness, fear... he knows wei wuxian loves wen qing and will be overjoyed to see her, but he's scared of how to explain everything to him. he would have brought him to her regardless, he just got caught up with by events and ended up in a situation where he realized that he should have been fully honest from the start, and have trusted wei wuxian to be able to take it all and to accept his honesty.

Aaaa I absolutely love among the crows like I just recently got tumbler and found your art I was so spell bounded 🤩 you are probably to busy now but in the future do you think you can draw that one scene where Akaashi takes off the pendant and gets cold and Bokuto wraps his wings around him 🤧
