The work got ahold of me , i had a paint scheme all planned out. I started sanding down the frame to paint it flat black . As i was doing that I realized i wanted to do something different, something that says something about me i guess. I decided im going to bare metal , kind of a 320grit polished look. I feel this work is equally as challenging as primer paint and clear. Its turning out a bit like polished aluminum. Progress on the atc 185s build. Parts painted and dusty courtesy of the desert, still dissembling the bike it self. Pesky circlip giving me trouble !! Body work on the front fender is not bad , not perfect by any means. Im just using my hands , if it feels smooth its smooth to eye? We will see , the work is talking to me just have to listen. Once i get it all smoothed out and finished my plan is to use plastic adhesion promoter , then hit the whole plastic with a lite layer of polyester body filler , smooth to finish then primer and paint? Its a theory.
