I was playing around with the idea of how Derlord could've survived infinite knowledge while still being normal enough to not end up in a padded cell. So I thought what if in response to the overload his brain locks itself off from the input? As long as he doesn't try to think about anything thats not already in his brain he's fine, but as soon as it goes outside his current knowledge he has to re-experience infinity until his brain manages to somewhat sort itself out again.

That comes with all sorts of side effects, but you'll see them soon enough :3

Anyway here's the tiny ref sheet of IRL Derlord and Avery I made for myself. Just for reference Derlord's real name is Ritter in this AU (graciously nabbed from this fic because I think it slaps)
