Hello everyone! Been writing more these past few days, so here's a small progress update
Chapter 2 - Future Sovereign Route Word Count: 4,366
I've finally finished the whole first part of the chapter, and I've begun writing 1 of the 3 variations of the second part.
Also, I'm thinking about giving those with a Ko-Fi membership access to the unfinished beta as I continue writing, since I update the beta as I write. I'll likely do this soon as I reach the halfway point of Chapter 2 for the first variation.
I'll announce the estimated release for the chapter once I've fully finished the second part of Chapter 2, so stay tuned for that!

Hello everyone! Quick update since I've been writing a lot these past few days :D
Chapter 2 - Future Sovereign Route Word Count: 3,166
This chapter has 3 main parts, and I'm mostly finished with the first one, just need to describe the ballroom and it'll be done. I've started working on the second part which has 3 variations that mostly differ in flavor text, the most important stuff will be present in all 3 branches. The branching paths will then merge back into 1 for the final part, which I'm pretty excited to write.

After The End Chapter 1 Part 3 is finally here! In this part, you will:
get back home just in time to be reunited with someone you haven't seen in 3 months
talk to this certain someone about Prince Ædric's proposition
decide on which route to go through: the Sovereign route or the Heir route
ALSO!!! This update comes with a new codex tab that has entries for some of the main characters of the story WITH CHARACTER ART!!!!

Still working on this project, just been going through life things.
Popped in to give a small update about Chapter 2 of the Future Sovereign route and answer some asks.
Chapter 2 (Future Sovereign) Word Count: 1,541
I'd say this is about 25% of Chapter 2? Most of the chapter was already outlined a while back, though there are some parts I've been changing to make more sense.
Estimated release of Chapter 2 (Future Sovereign) is September 2025.

I bring some exciting news once more: Chapter 1 Part 3 is ready for its release on August 30, 2024 at 2100H or 9:00 pm EDT (UTC -4:00) 🥳

With this update, Chapter 1 will finally be complete! Next up on the agenda is Chapter 2 (Future Sovereign route), which I'm hoping to release by January 2025.

After The End Chapter 1 Part 2 is finally here! In this part, you will:
get home just in time to release all the built-up emotions you've been holding in
receive 2 letters: one from your childhood friend, the other from the second prince
have a clandestine meeting with aforementioned second prince
(Please restart the game as some variables have been added and changed 😅)
Note: If you would rather click to load the text rather than wait for the timed text to load, you can disable the timed text by going to Settings and toggling the "Enable timed passages" setting to "Off".

To celebrate, I've decided to finally announce here who the secret RO is!

You read that right, folks! You'll have a chance in the future to fall in love with the sweet and stoic knight 🤭
And congrats to these anons who guessed that Bertrand is the secret RO! 🥳
Especially that November anon! I haven't even released the demo and they already hit the bullseye with their guess 🤭
Now, this is pretty old news for the peeps in my Discord server, so I've got an extra surprise for y'all:
After The End: Once Upon A Time
"Once Upon A Time" is going to be a collection of extra content (in the form of short stories) for After The End!
These short stories will cover:
The Silver Era - some events from the time that Duke Argentius, Duchess Argentius, King Ærick, Queen Lucia, and Queen Iseult were in the Royal Academy until the assassination of the Tyrant King Æthelgard
The Golden Era - some events from the time before MC and Crown Prince Ædan's engagement until before the start of Chapter 1, and some events that may or may not happen in future chapters 🤭
Modern AU (Golden Era characters) - MC, Ædric, Cyfrin, Bertrand, Ædan, and Helene in a modern setting. May include but not limited to the following themes: high school, chaebols, Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, amusement park, legal guardian MC
Now, all of these short stories will be available for free. However, after the first set of short stories I release, the membership tiers over on my Ko-fi will be able to access all succeeding short stories a few weeks earlier before those are released to the public as well.
