Ateez towards to a New Universe - Black Star, Lucifer

After a long while in a world full of adults, Ateez finally managed to melt the ice around their frozen hearts. And right after that, they received an invitation from someone they had never seen before — a complete stranger. The sender of this invitation was the Black Star.

Hello everyone! With In Your Fantasy, Ateez seems to be starting a brand-new journey. Maybe it’ll be similar to what they’ve experienced before, or maybe it will be something entirely different. While we can’t know for sure what awaits them, one thing is certain: this video is just a theory. So, welcome to Ateez and the Black Hole Theory!

First, I should warn you — I’ll be talking about Matrix and also Interstellar, which is equally important when it comes to Ateez. So if you haven’t watched these movies yet, beware of spoilers.

Since I haven’t made a video specifically about Ateez’s alter egos,  I’ll touch on what happened to them after Answer and their hidden importance in The World series. But if you already feel confident about this part, you can skip to the timestamp on the screen. For now, let’s begin!

Throughout the Treasure series, Ateez kept facing problems with the ones San described  as their "First Treasure" back during the showcase of “Hala Hala.” 

Their alter egos represented Ateez’s mischievous impulses — their passions and their true feelings. If we hadn’t called them alter egos, as the Director named them before, we could’ve simply said their true selves.

As I mentioned, especially in the Treasure series, alter egos caused many problems for Ateez. Some of you might know them by their unofficial name “Halateez,” which they were given because their first appearance happened to be in “Hala Hala. And they lead Ateez into a dead end. They wasted a lot of time when they were deceived by their alter egos during “Illusion,” which made Ateez anxious and lose control. That was a great opportunity for the alter egos.

 But, thinking they weren’t being deceived by them, Ateez trusted only the whispers and stepped through a place called the Door of Truth. But once they crossed that door, they lost all of their memories. The only way out was to accept — and even embrace — those alter egos who constantly stabbed them in the back.

This moment was shown to us in what everyone knows as the normal Answer and the MAMA Answer performance. Ode to Joy, however, showed us an entirely different universe. With these two Answers, Ateez took control, proved to the world that they held the power, and sent their alter egos back into depths of their heart — never to return. And so, without any treasure to keep them awake in Strictland, they returned to the underground world, overflowing with yellow gas.

This was actually Ateez’s third time going back to Strictland. But it was the first time they went without their alter egos — without the passion and fire burning inside them. In short, the Outlaw album’s B-sides, the Movement album’s B-sides, along with Paradigm, Not Okay, and Halazia, all tell this story: what happened when Ateez returned to Strictland without their alter egos or a treasure.

These songs in the storyline will be in the scene,  if you read the lyrics and the other details you can also discover the true story hidden there. But I will be telling you a story like a narrator right now.

The yellow gas that makes people emotionless, numb starts to affect Ateez for the first time. From now on, Ateez neither have their memories nor their emotions. So then what can they do? They couldn't find any strength to resist this yellow gas who entered an illusion just as the other people in this dark underworld.

In this trauma-filled nightmare, Ateez was diving deeper and deeper, losing control.

The on exit button that will put this situation to an end is still in the mirror, their reflections. The ones watching what’s going on, like a film inside Ateez’s hearts, are those who went down there with the agreement made during Answer. They no longer interfere with Ateez as a result of that agreement. But, just 1 chance, maybe they can't be too bad.

All that Ateez knew was gradually changing, as their existence was filled with contradictions.

Because maybe the thing, the treasure that should have been sober in this dark world wasn't the guiding light but maybe they should have adept in this world, at least, if they call their reflections as "Shadows." They need to lose their way in this Black and White Photo Studio. Ateez, who understood this and managed to break free from the illusion, began to see them as a treasure and reached the Guerrilla form. Their powerful forms we see in Black and White... 

You might be questioning the connection between these events and Ash along with In Your Fantasy. In the storyline there are at least 3 years between these points. But are not these two event are perfectly matching the the moon and the sun in the new Moon? Indeed, when Ateez save the Strictland and back to their own dimension, Halateez also back to their hearts. Ateez becomes an adult just like the other people living there and Sopro shows up. Wooyoung thinks that's a chance to make his real again, after passing 3 years.

Wooyoung awakens Sopro to make his dream come true, and the other members, who had thought Wooyoung's dream was childish, agree with him.

There can be seen in Lemon Drop and Birthday, Ateez awakes from this boring adult life and with In Your Fantasy, there is the Black and White theme back. Even so there is a problem. After ATEEZ regained hope with their alter egos reawakened by Sopro's influence, they received an invitation from someone to come to the Stange Mansion.

Yes this might mean that Mito represents Ateez. Because it seems that Ateez, who has once again become the “King,” was compared to the historic rulers said to have hatched from golden eggs. I had only suggested that it could be a dragon egg, of course—though the dragon is also a king, and all the other details are still there…

But before everything else, there is a case that I should mention about the Matrix. In the Matrix Universe, when the main character had a deja vu, it happened with a cat. He saw the cat walking twice.  Something similar happened during the Xr Show when Jongho saw the bottle fall twice.

The Matrix has a cat, and Jongho has a bottle. So, had we ever seen Jongho with a cat before?

 Yes, perhaps to show how similar these two events are, right in the title track of Golden Hour Part 2, Ice On My Teeth. ATEEZ seems to have entered a loop!

So Ateez joined Lucifer's show with this invitation sended to them. There is a much more detailed video of me about In Your Fantasy that you can check, it's the previous video about Lucifer also about the other name of Lucifer" Morning Star" and the connection it has with Venus. I also mentioned Lucifer can be an imposter. Because the star Ateez try to find is the Queen of the Night.

To be honest I tried to find what Black Star can mean, is it a symbol that can symbolize something important or maybe a character from a fictional universe, but there was just a big 0 in my hand. Until I noticed what a black star is in reality. Maybe this star was the same as the one they reached after passing The Door of Truth. This is black because it doesn't shine, cause it's no longer a star now. It is a dead star.  Black Star is actually a Black Hole.

So then, we can move on to the spoiler-filled Interstellar section.

While theorizing exactly what happened, the possibilities merged and I arrived at three connected theories. All three are in fact very similar to each other, and the hints outside the main theory look as if they were sprinkled through official sources to support the situation. So then, let’s begin.

Theory One: The Core.

With In Your Fantasy, Ateez received an invitation from a fallen angel who called herself Lucifer. This invitation had previously been sent by the Black Star in earlier content and led to the Strange Mansion. I said that the Black Star could actually be a black hole, but the view of many scientists—as well as in fictional universes, and in the Einstein–Rosen Bridge theory that Interstellar also drew from—is that black holes are in fact wormholes that can remain stable or that can be said Black Holes are the Wormhole’s entrance, gate. This is the cornerstone of this video. During the tour, Ateez confirmed through video footage that wormholes already existed in their universe long ago. And in fact, we know that the Door of Truth also opens to a void filled with darkness, which sounds very much like a black hole.

Previously, in Dazzling Light, the phrase “S.t.a.y” was directly taken from this film. Just like in the movie, it was a word sent from the fifth dimension to Ateez, warning them not to pass through the Door. The reason in the film why a character could send a message from the fifth dimension to himself was because gravity recognized neither dimension nor time. So he could send a message to the past. In the movie, while the character was searching for “a New World,” he entered a black hole and was brought into a place connected to the fifth dimension by humans of the future.

A similar situation can be observed when someone enters such a dimension and experiences gravitational disorder—just like the gravity disruption we saw in Halazia. 

In the movie, because time was poorly used, the question was asked whether black holes could be used to go back into the past. Looking at the connection between them and wormholes, we can not say this would be impossible—especially in a fictional universe.

So then, the fantasy into which the Black Star pulled Ateez was not entirely a fantasy. It was actually a wormhole journey—something already familiar to them, and something that also explains the déjà vu I mentioned earlier. I think this picture in particular illustrates the situation very well: Ateez was in fact returning to the illusion they experienced with Ash during their third turn in Strictland.

There is a special situation in the song Ash: the lyrics contain references both to the illusion they experienced before and to what comes after Fantasy. For this reason, the song acts as a kind of bridge.

In the song, as in Illusion, we see Ateez trapped between life and death. They speak of flowers blooming and withering, and that the eternal flame does not exist. These lyrics are actually a reference to the Treasure Series and the agreement in Answer. They also say their memories scatter like sand blown in the wind and are now gone. Up to this point, the song seems like a fairly ordinary reflection on the past, the kind that could sit beside Not Okay or Paradigm.

But later in the song, we see that Ateez’s alter egos are by their side. Yet while in the illusion Ateez did not have them fully at their side, in the fantasy they were together. As Ateez spent time in this illusion, they gradually turned to ashes—the fire within them extinguished—and now there are two Ateez.

We still don’t know whether this past took place in our parallel universe or not, but we do know that one Ateez is the Ateez of the past, while the other is the Ateez of the future—just as Hongjoong traveled to the future and created a breaking point in the universe during Answer.

In fact, they already showed us these two Ateez during their last world tour: one Ateez trapped in the darkness with the exit sealed, and the other whose alter ego had reawakened. But then, why in the MV do we see an Ateez that looks like the Black Fedoras, yet not exactly them?

This actually may have an explanation: Theory Two.

In the trailers for Crazy Form, we had already seen what the Black Fedoras did after the first rebellion: to observe Ateez during their journey and rescue them when necessary. However, in those trailers we saw the time when they did not rescue Ateez but instead let them experience what they had failed to show in the school from which they escaped. Neither the Fedoras nor the stars, whose appearances changed like the phases of the moon, helped them.

But why do we see this same confident aura radiating from them in the Ash MV? The simple reason may be that this black-and-white Ateez is Ateez in their Guerrilla form, because their alter egos are with them. Or perhaps it reminds us of Mingi’s words in Pirate King—or, just as we learned at the end of Interstellar, that those in the fifth dimension are also our future.

Perhaps everything was connected: Theory Three.

The Black Fedoras—along with the possible Halazia, whose current whereabouts and actions remain unknown—have disappeared from the story. Ateez with their secret identities, whom we lost track of after Yeosang’s rescue when Seonghwa and the others came to save him, have not given us any message or sign since the Treasure Series.

Previously I said Ateez received a message in Dazzling Light. In the film, that message came from the character’s future self to stop himself. And the frequency sounds we heard at the end of Precious Overture, as well as the radio signals at the end of Beginning of The End, were in fact clues telling Ateez what they needed to do to escape from this darkness.

But what if these were really the future Ateez themselves, trying to make up for the absence of the Black Fedoras? After all, the Black Fedoras do not appear in The World series or in the Treasure series outside of that sequence. Moreover, in Ash, this black-and-white Ateez does not stand as if trying to hide their identities.

So essentially, if the world where the wormhole opened is a point within the current universe, then it means Ateez only traveled to the past. Or, if this world is a parallel universe previously said to exist in Ateez’s story, then Ateez might be creating another breaking point in this universe. If you ask me, this past must be another universe. In the movie, it happens this way as well, and I expect this world to actually be the universe where the real star exists. After all, in the Treasure Series, Ateez used the wormhole to reach the star. Similarly, they used the Door of Truth—which I said could also be a black hole—to make up for the time they had lost.

In summary, after Answer, Ateez will be creating a breaking point for the first time—but what will be the consequences of this?

A year ago

I was going home carrying an umbrella trying not to cry because I found my couple cheating on me with a friend we had in common, until I heard crying noises that went louder than mine causing me to stop my breathing for a second to hear from where exactly it was from. I walked following the noises and found a closed box all wet because of the rain, desperately I opened it to see a little golden retriever that looked at me with fear in his eyes.

Without thinking I took him out of the cage and not even caring about the water dripping off his fur I made my way back home hugging him.

Once I put him on my yellow carpet he sat on it and spun around, I laughed cleaning my face.

— Let’s take a shower, shall we? — I said, patting his head.

I know it was impossible but for a minute I saw his eyes shining while a little smile appeared on his face.

Carrying him to the bath I washed his body and fur slowly and gently, and once I was done I let him lay next to the wood stove to give myself a relaxing shower.

A few minutes later I walked out the shower brushing my hair and I saw the puppy sleeping, I sat behind him and I touched his nose.

— What name should I give you…? — I talked to myself, thinking.

— Shaun…? Yunseop? — I looked at him and he opened his eyes, no expression on them.

— Yunho? — I asked. He rested his head on my lap while rubbing his nose on my cheek.

—- You like it, don’t you? Well… you’ll be Yunho, my Yunho.

Present day

I ran back home while carrying a small cake for dogs. Yunho turned 3 years old today and I promised him I was going to be at home earlier, without knowing my boss had decided to give me a lot of work to do.

I looked at the sky, big and dark clouds were ready to give it all.

— I just want to get home… please. — I whispered. — Just two more blocks…

After some minutes and at the moment my hand was placed on the door, the rain started as if the world was ending.

I sighed in relief.

— Baby! — I called Yunho as the door closed behind my back, and like lightning he was in front of me barking happily.

— I didn’t forget — I smiled and I placed the cake with a number three candle on the table, placing the now big Yunho on a chair.

— Wait a second! Don’t eat yet, let me take a picture! — I begged and he just stayed still.

I took my phone while focusing the camera on his face and the cake, but as soon as I pressed the button to capture a beautiful picture, a big thunder made its presence, turning off the lights.

— At least I bought you a candle. — I said laughing while I lit the candle just to see a big guy sitting on Yunho’s place.

— What the…? — I stepped back.

— Y/n! — he shouted euphoric with a big smile decorating his face.

— How do you…? — I asked, looking at him and his… dog ears? — Yunho…? — I questioned in a whisper.

— That 's me. — he said and looked at the cake in front of him, specifically at the candle it had.

I breathed two times trying not to freak out.

— I guess you are not eating that, right?

He stared at me while he pinned me innocently against the wall and gave a small kiss on my cheek like always.

I looked at him nervously.

— And I guess you are not turning 3… right?

Y/N is a recruitment staff in a men’s magazine but as of the moment, she is still working from home because of the pandemic, and at that time, they had a zoom meeting with their manager, Hongjoong.

THEIR CONVERSATION DURING THEIR ZOOM MEETING:

Hongjoong: Good morning, everyone! This meeting will be just quick because I want to announce that someone was transferred to our team and he was in the marketing team before.

Y/N: Oh! But why does that employee suddenly transfer to our team?

Jeri (friend of Y/N): Also, Hongjoong, isn’t that weird that someone was transferred to our team from the other department?

Hongjoong: I know all of you have so many questions about that. But he was the one who volunteered to be transferred to our team since we still need some help. But no worries, San, the marketing team manager told me that he is a great employee and also, I want to announce that starting next week we will go back to work in the office. As we go back to work in the office, we should also start again to find a cover model for the magazine and I will choose who will be your partners. Then if you could find 5 male models within two weeks and your 5 models will be chosen by me and the CEO you will have a salary increase. By next week, in the office, you will know your partners.

Y/N: Wow! Really? Salary increase?

Hongjoong: Sounds, great, right? So, I bet all of you will do your best to find great models for the magazine.

Yeosang: But why do we have to find 5 models instead of only one model?

Hongjoong: Mr. Jeong Yunho (CEO) told me that it will be easy for us to assign the models on what month they will be a cover model of the magazine.

Jeri: Oh! That’s a great idea so that you will not have a problem anymore finding again a model every month, right?

Hongjoong: You’re right, Jeri! I almost forgot to tell you that I will introduce the transferred employee also next week in the office. Also, even though you still don’t know who are your partners you can start searching for some models so that, when you know your partners already, you can decide and talk who can be your chosen models. Are we clear?

Y/N/ Jeri/ Yeosang: Yes, Hongjoong!

Hongjoong: Okay Great! See you next week!

After the meeting ended, Y/N sent a message to Jeri and Yeosang.

THEIR CONVERSATION:

Y/N: Guys! Do you know the people working from the marketing department?

Jeri: I don’t know who are working in that department. What about you, Yeosang?

Yeosang: Yup! I have a friend there named Wooyoung. Why? Do you want to ask me if I have an idea who might be the transferred employee into our department?

Y/N: Yup! Did your friend tell you that someone really volunteered to transfer to our department?

Yeosang: He didn’t tell me. To be honest, I was also surprised by Hongjoong’s announcement but I think Wooyoung is not that employee.

Y/N: Oh, Okay! Can you ask him later? I am becoming curious.

Yeosang: Okay! To be honest, I will go to his place today.

Y/N: Oh, okay! Thanks, Yeosang! Just let me know if you already have any information.

Yeosang: Okay! I really have to go bye!

Y/N: Okay! Thanks, Yeosang! Stay safe!

After Yeosang had a conversation with Y/N, he went to Wooyoung’s place and while they are hanging out…

“Wooyoung, I heard that in your department someone volunteered to transfer to our department. By any chance do you have any idea who is that employee?” Yeosang said and Wooyoung was surprised.

“Oh! I just heard that news from you. Where did you hear that?” Wooyoung asked.

“Does your manager really didn’t tell to all of you about it?” Yeosang asked.

“Yes! San didn’t tell us about transferring to another department. So, where did you hear that news?” Wooyoung asked.

“Our manager, Hongjoong told us earlier in our zoom meeting and he will introduce us next week the employee that will be transferred in our department. Don’t you really have an idea who is it?” Yeosang asked.

“Sorry to say but I don’t have an idea who is that employee because I believe that one of our best employees, Jongho, will not be the one who will be transferred to another department,” Wooyoung said.

“What if Jongho was the one who volunteered? Is he will be a big loss to your department?” Yeosang asked.

“I think so since he is really a great employee in our department but if he really volunteered then it’s okay since we still have other best employees too,” Wooyoung said.

“Oh! Okay! My friends in our department were just really curious about that employee. That’s why I asked you,” Yeosang said.

“I understand, Yeosang,” Wooyoung said as he smiled at Yeosang. As for Y/N who is starting to find some models, suddenly her phone got a notification from her social media and it was a friend request and as she checked it was “Choi Jongho”…

“Why the hell did this jerk make a friend request to me? Did he remember the things he did to me! Hmph! I will never accept him!” Y/N thought and ignored the notification and continued at her work. As for Jongho who is waiting to be accepted by Y/N…

“Why isn’t she accepting me? Didn’t she remember that I am her classmate when we were in high school?” Jongho thought and sighed then his friend named Seonghwa noticed it.

“Is there a problem, Jongho?” Seonghwa asked.

“Just waiting for someone to accept my friend request but she hasn’t accepted it,” Jongho said and Seonghwa chuckled.

“Do you like her?” Seonghwa asked.

“Yes, but I don’t know why she hasn’t accepted yet,” Jongho said.

“Why? Did two of you meet before?” Seonghwa asked.

“Yes! But it was a long time ago because we were classmates when we were in high school,” Jongho said.

“If it’s a long time ago then she might really not remember you. Or it might be, that she already remembered you but has a painful memory to you that’s why she doesn’t want to accept you,” Seonghwa said.

“To be honest, I don’t remember what I did to her when we were in high school but if it was a bad one, then I will apologize to her for what I did,” Jongho said.

“That’s right. But are you going to meet her for once?” Seonghwa asked.

“Yup! I will meet her next week,” Jongho said as he smiled.

“Oh! Good luck meeting with her,” Seonghwa said as he smiled back.

FAST FORWARD…

It was Monday morning and while Y/N is working in the office quietly, Hongjoong approached him and when Y/N looked at him, she was surprised because…

“Y/N, This is Jongho, the employee that is transferred here in our department and he will be your partner for finding models,” Hongjoong said as he smiled and Jongho also smiled at her.

“Are you sure, Hongjoong? That he will be my partner?” Y/N asked.

“Yes! Why? Is there a problem?” Hongjoong asked.

“There is no problem, Hongjoong,” Y/N said as she tried to smile at them.

“Okay! I’ll leave the two of you now and good luck!” Hongjoong said and Jongho nodded and Y/N just smiled. After Hongjoong left them, Y/N ignored Jongho but he suddenly noticed it and he decided to sit beside her.

“Why the hell Jongho assigned to be my partner? This is the worst day of my life, meeting him again!” Y/N thought and still didn’t talk to Jongho.

“Umm… Y/N do you remember me? I am your classmate when we were in high school,” Jongho said as he smiled and Y/N decided to face him and…

“Of course, I remember you, Choi Jongho. The big bully in our section when were in high school!” Y/N said as she raised one of her eyebrows then Jongho became uncomfortable with Y/N words and…

“I am sorry if I didn’t really remember what I did to you that time,” Jongho said as he can’t look at Y/N.

“Oh! Is that so? Okay, I’ll tell you the bad things you did to me. You and your gang that time did some crazy pranks on me and also, you helped some bratty girls that also bullied me to hurt me physically and humiliate me in the whole school which made me so depressed and decided to just endure the pain that you did to me!” Y/N said angrily making Yeosang and Jeri surprised at her sudden anger at him then Y/N suddenly left Jongho in her working station. Then Jongho was also surprised at her action and he sighed.

“Gosh! I should follow her and say sorry to her. I didn’t expect our meeting will be like this,” Jongho thought. Y/N went to the roof-top of the building to catch some fresh air and…

“Why do I really have to meet the great CHOI JONGHO that made me feel miserable? We shouldn’t have met again!” Y/N thought as she sighed while looking at the scenery of the city. Then someone followed her and it was Jongho.

“Y/N,” Jongho said and Y/N looked at him quickly and just ignored him. But Jongho tried to approach her and…

“Why did you follow me?” Y/N asked while she is still not looking at him.

“Y/N, to be honest, I may not remember all the bad things I did to you but I want to apologize for all of the things that I did to you which made you depressed and still be a painful memory to you. Don’t worry, I will prove that I am not Jongho that you knew before, and also, I will help you become successful in our assigned task to us. So, please forgive me, Y/N,” Jongho said as he still looking at Y/N. Then when Y/N heard him, she finally looked at him and…

“Are you sure about that?” Y/N asked and Jongho nodded.

“Okay! It seems you are sincere enough with your apology. I’ll forgive you, Jongho. Let’s help each other with the task assigned to us,” Y/N said as she smiled.

“Thank you for forgiving me, Y/N! Don’t worry we will be successful for this task,” Jongho said as he winked at her and Y/N chuckled. Then when they went back to their working station talking about the task, Yeosang and Jeri looked at them.

“What suddenly happened to them?” Jeri asked Yeosang.

“I don’t know. Let’s ask them later,” Yeosang said and Jeri nodded. As for Wooyoung who is working quietly, he suddenly noticed that the working station beside him is already vacant and he approached San.

“San, where is Jongho?” Wooyoung asked.

“He volunteered to be transferred to the recruitment team. Why?” San said.

“Oh! I am just surprised he is really the one who transferred to another department because you know he is one of the best employees in our department,” Wooyoung said.

“I know but it’s okay, you are still here and you are also the best employee for me here in the department,” San said as he smiled and Wooyoung chuckled.

“Thanks, San! I bet Jongho also like someone in that department, right?” Wooyoung asked.

“Yup! But that’s not the main reason he wanted to be transferred in that department it’s because he wanted to help the team since the recruitment team is still not enough employees,” San said.

“Oh, I see! That’s good to hear, San,” Wooyoung said as he smiled. As time goes by, it was already lunchtime and all of them had their lunch together.

“Hi! I am Jongho I am your new colleague,” Jongho said as he smiled at Yeosang and Jeri.

“Hello, Jongho! I am Jeri, I am Y/N’s friend,” Jeri said.

“I am Yeosang. Nice to meet you, Jongho,” Yeosang said as he smiled.

“Jongho and I will be partners,” Y/N said.

“Oh, okay! I am sorry to ask, Y/N, why did you get angry at Jongho earlier?” Yeosang asked.
