DUDE DUE DUDE, en el último video de Dan no sé tu pero según yo insinúo que podrían ir a otros países, consideras que l phandom acá en méxico sea lo suficientemente grande como para que vinieran??????? T_T

Mmmm…no lo sé. En el phandom mexicano debe haber cerca de 100-200 personas a lo mucho:( (espero que me equivoque y sean muchos más) pero no sé si ellos lo considerarían lo suficientemente grande como para venir aunque sea a dar una o dos fechas porque si revisas los lugares en los que se han presentado o se presentarán son de más de 2000 asientos. Necesitaríamos todos los miembros del phandom mexicano ponernos de acuerdo y realizar una campaña para que nos noten, tal vez y en un futuro cuando sean más conocidos, podamos hacer que vengan. 

Si alguien del phandom mexicano ve esto y quiere proponer algo por favor escribanos :D

hello, i´m not from america and i was offline from this weekend so i just realize about dashcon and eveything; i just read that you are saying that you will never hear wtnv again, and as far as i can see you have answer mean messages about it, and i dont mean to get into things that are not my business but there is no need get rude with those unpolite people just ignore them, probably you have already answer this but could you explain me what is all this madness about? when you have the time*

Hi there! Thanks for sending me this message, I'd be happy to explain.

There were a lot of unfortunate incidents at DashCon this past weekend. On Friday night, one of the co-owners was suddenly informed by the hotel that they had to cough up $20,000 by that night at 10pm. Basically, everyone came together and donated enough money for them to reach that goal. Many people are saying that it was a scam, despite the fact that DashCon has an official statement from the hotel saying yes, they owe that money, and put it up on their blog.

Then on Saturday, the Welcome to Night Vale crew walked out on the convention. They claim that DashCon refused to pay them, which is simply not true. DashCon was happy to pay them. They gave the Night Vale crew most of their fee in cash, then proceeded to transfer the remaining balance to them via Paypal. Paypal, however, was having server issues at the time and the money would not transfer.

Instead of being willing to work with the staff on something that was obviously not their fault, Night Vale walked away. Here's the post that DashCon made explaining the situation. Those people who paid to see Night Vale were given the compensation listed on that post. Many people are unhappy with said compensation, which is their right.

Two other situations of note were the Baker Street Babes and Gingerhaze. Personally, I don't know much of anything about the Baker Street Babes situation. What I do know is that they left the convention early, but DashCon honored the original deal of covering their hotel expenses.

Gingerhaze's situation is better known to me. She walked out of the convention midday on Saturday (after Night Vale left), claiming that she "had a lot of deadlines to make" and did not tell DashCon that she was leaving. They heard from another artist (a conversation that happened when I was present) that she had left. She did not have the decency to tell a single member of the actual DashCon staff that she was leaving, nor tell any of them her reason(s) behind doing so.

She also claims that DashCon told her to foot her own hotel bill. The admins have explained that this was never intentional and it was due to a clerical error by the hotel itself. The rooms had already been paid for, but due to this error, were charged again. This was explained at closing ceremonies. There's a video floating around, but I don't have it right off hand.

However, since DashCon has refunded the Baker Street Babes, I imagine they will probably do the same with Gingerhaze, despite what she did.
