Needless to say, Kempf was referring to the dancing competition that he’d seen Reinhardt enter. He hadn’t cared about it before, but the moment he saw Reinhardt on his way there, he knew he had to act. He would wipe that smile clean off his rival’s face, or die trying!

“If I’m to destroy everything he holds dear, I must look exquisite while doing it. I couldn’t settle for less! Now, are you ready to defeat him utterly?”

Had they known that Fernand would be this annoying, they would have just sent him home. Too late for that now though, they needed all the help they could get against Hel.

    Clarine proves to be a little haughtier than Thea had expected; perhaps it was unfair for Thea to assume she would be a carbon copy of her brother though. Still, it's nothing that Thea hasn't experienced before, and her momentary surprise is just that: momentary.

“ I was told by General Klein that you ' got tangled up in some mess ', ” she starts, careful to try and quote her commander word for word. “ I was under the impression that you did not join the fighting voluntarily... but the way you speak suggests I’m wrong. ”

She pauses, contemplating the assessment she had just made. Her voice grows a little quieter though the difference is slight.

“ ...What made you stay? ”

“That’s one of the things, but we’ll save that for later. I need to talk to you about... things,” his eyes glanced from the corner carefully before settling back on her and lowered his voice. “Is there a place you and I can go and talk in private?” 

The last thing Kiran desired was for them to be overheard or cause problems, Clarine seemed to be the best person to discuss this with. Perhaps she could give some clarity that the summoner missed.

All Valters, regardless of AU, time frame, or sanity levels, all adore the wilderness. It is a peaceful reprieve for him to get away from the hustle and bustle that he grew up with. Even as a young boy, he’d often scurry into the the forests surrounding his home to spend his time climbing trees and whacking the biggest branch he could possibly find into things. Nature’s always been comforting to him.

Walter is a very talented (if unrefined) singer! Weirder still, he has no stammer when he does belt out a tune here and there. This is because the processes your brain goes through when singing are pretty much entirely different than when you’re speaking.

Imperial Walter is actually somewhat aware of this and would sometimes “sing through” conversations that made him nervous or uncomfortable when he was growing up and pushing himself to become more self reliant without his courageous younger twin to help him navigate societal norms. He still sometimes does it when he’s feeling highly anxious and fears the words might “start sticking” again.
