I want people to realise that it wouldn't matter if Korra was some brilliant sequel that changed lives, it still would've gotten a modest amount of hate because it has a strong female lead and it's a sequel. Would it be the majority? Maybe, maybe not. But it's a pattern that -

A. All sequels will be scrutinized for the first few years until the next thing comes out to hate.

B. All strong female lead stories will be scrutinized for the first few years until misogynists realise they can't use any excuses anymore and ease off.

He hates how magic is used to captivate people and wants to claim ALL of the magic in Twisted Wonderland 😬 Damn, I guess there was meaning behind his weird line to Yuu (“It must trouble you (someone who cannot use magic) to be surrounded by magic users everyday.”), just not exactly in the way some of us predicted. Rollo even has additional dialogue in part 3 remarking that Yuu has been “poisoned” by all of the strong magic around them (Yuu told him they think magic is fun, despite all the chaos it can create).

zvxjsvsisbkc4d$s;2!)2 ANYWAY I’m super hyped to continue this event and I’m even more interested in Rollo than ever 🤔 I sure hope they explain how he developed this kind of worldview on magic, considering that everyone else so far has pretty much only had positives to say about it. It kind of gives me similar ATLA (Legend of Korra) energy, since its first arc is about the Equalizers, a group that believes that bending is evil and oppresses the non-benders.

P.S. THERE ARE ALSO RSA CAMEOS 😂 which I was expecting since this is a symposium of multiple schools, but WOW did it feel amazing to see Neige and Chenya again??? And they’re so heroic, jumping in to save their friends (Epel and Rook, Riddle)!
