Refreshed by immersion in @yayoikusama_ ‘s reflected lightscapes and aglow with the primary colors and primal patterns of her artworks... @brandyvalentine1 & I sit at the @highmuseumofart , contemplating the inherent joy of becoming one, with art. ♥️ The 12-hr round trip drive to catch this exhibit... was TOTALLY worth the toll it took on our physical selves, today! Art that immerses you in other worlds.. other possibilities @yayoikusama_ has spent a lifetime in these explorations. It’s exhilarating, exuberant and uplifting experience for me. Every time I encounter her colorful, joyful work (I’ve stopped dead in my tracks dashing through an airport, for instance) my response is visceral & immediate joy!!! @brandyvalentine1 treated me to this experience as a complete surprise road-trip & I am SO GRATEFUL!!! Cameras were not allowed everywhere... but we got lucky enough with this room to bring you along for the ride! Taking Gunner home from the vet. Poor guy had a miserable scab removed and had his first laser therapy. Do NOT look at second picture if fresh wounds make you squeamish!!! So, I️ will be cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide and applying mupirocin antibacterial ointment 2-3x a day for 3-5 days. Food times!!!
