I don't know what gave me such an intense urge to cover this song, but here we are
Unfortunately because I can’t allow myself to do things by halves I went with a full cover – instrumentals, vocals, all of it. It was very relaxing actually (discounting the vocals, that is). I swear I didn’t mean for it to turn out this different to the original but I was possessed by the melody monster and only woke up five hours later with the entire instrumental in my lap and half of Eleanor’s vocals done. After I’d recovered my capacity for conscious thought I decided I’d just let it be. Whoops.
I meant to have this done like a week ago but my internship started and I couldn’t finish mixing or mastering until today so yeah. I’d also planned to post this to YouTube somehow but honestly I don't know how to make videos or wrangle YouTube/my computer well enough, so I decided it was just too much work. I’ve only ever posted music here anyway, though I rarely ever do, regardless.
