Closed Starter: Hair Emergency
Cora threw up her hands in front of her mirror in frustration. She wanted *everything* to be perfect tonight, and so far, most of it was: her dress was frabjous, her heels were ones Cinderella would have been proud of, and her tiara (albeit with artificial jewels) looked like a smaller version of one that was once part of her mother’s collection. But none of that mattered right now because her hair wouldn’t cooperate.
Cora’s mother had run a salon back on the Isle, so Cora was trained as a hairdresser. There was no reason she couldn’t find something- any style -that would suit her for Castlecoming. Yet no matter what she tried, she immediately hated it. It just wasn’t…right.
Realizing everyone else would be busy getting ready for their own evenings, she groaned. Who could help her on such short notice? None of the other students knew how to dress hair, and well- plus her hair needed a dose of hydration to keep it from frizzing -
Cora hadn’t sought out Dizzy’s services on the Isle because Dizzy’s grandmother’s salon, Curl Up and Dye, competed with the Queen of Hearts’ (and Ardenzana, Queen of Hearts, did not do well with sharing, never mind competition). But they weren’t on the Isle anymore, and even if Cora’s mother would have disapproved, Cora decided she didn’t care. Dizzy was a frabjous hairdresser in her own right, and if anyone could help her with this emergency, Dizzy could.
Cora finally got ahold of her thoughts as a possible solution popped into her head: Dizzy!
Dashing out of her room and down the hallway, she quickly rapped at Dizzy’s door, “Hey, Dizzy! Oh, goblins. I need help!”
